my favours are little ivory boxes with gold ribbon and have 2 lilac soap roses inside.we want to still put some mints in the middle of the table though. is this really rubbish ? be brutally honest because its not like it'll be a waste because we can use the soap ourselves!xxx

Do you have any pictures at all?
I think this sounds nice - classic and classy. x

Now making our house a home. Blessing 2014.
i personaly would not use the soap BUT i think with favours you are never going to be able to give much and i am only doing mine to make the table pretty. sooo i would still use them if i was you x x x

I think its a nice idea, completely different to anything else i have heard/seen as favors. I think pinkalace is right about the blokes, are you having anything different for them.... perhaps you can put the mints in the boxes for them x x
CommentAuthorjmr888909
yeah i said that to h2b and he said he didnt really care lol he just got made redundant so i think we just dont want to spend any more than we have to. what do you suggest is cheap that i could give the men?xxx
CommentAuthorHoxxyhula
If I do favours I'm not going to bother with the men. The ones I know would not appreciate them! x
CommentAuthormrs pinkalice
if i do favours for men it will probably be something edible, im sure most of the men i know would prefer something they could eat lol. for the ladies i want to do a nice keepsake not sure what yet tho x
CommentAuthordoushka
i like it, it sounds very classy, elegant and differant, sorry no idea for the men

Minature spirits? Something you can collect over a period of time.X
CommentAuthorSuzi
Yeah I would go with the miniature bottles as krumary said, you can collect them over the next 10 months :o)
Your favours sound lovely by the way :o) x x
Do not disturb... Already disturbed enough!

I like it :) - the soap is great for the ladies and maybe something edible for the men? As long as the ladies know their's is soap hehe!

I love the idea of a minature packet of love hearts with personalised wrappers for the ladies, and minature bottles of spirits, again with the personalised labels for the men

I think your favours sound really nice and are not rubbish at all. At the end of the day it's just a little something for your guests to mark your wedding day it doesn't need to be extravagant so I would defo keep them x

I think your favours sound really trendy - soap seems to be the 'in' thing for favours at the moment. I think they sound pretty, in keeping with your theme and something nice for people to take home with them! Maybe you could get different soaps for the blokes as this would work out cheaper than minitures. xx
CommentAuthorlillylou
I think it's nice, do you want to put the mints with the soap if it's wrapped? Sounds nice and i agree with Eriksfjord, maybe you can do soemhting different for men? x

I think the favours sound lovely - although a bit too girly for the guys. Maybe an alternate gift for the men and children?
