Hiya, I am having a church wedding and am a little confused as i am unsure if we need witnesses, Can anyone help me

In a word YES!!
No matter where you get married to make it legal the paper work is the same, so you will need two witnesses who are at least 16 years old to sign hunni!

My pleasure hunni yeah Ive asked our mum's to do it too :-) but ours is in a hotel hehehe. Last time I got married was in a church and my chief bridesmaid and the bestman did it

do you have to actually ask people to be witnesses or do you just pick a couple of people who are there at the ceremony on the day? xXx

well my mum is a bit of a fruit loop (not in a funny nor medical way!) so not sure if she will be there so I think a nice combination will be my dad and his mum (since h2b is torn between his step dad is an utter breast but has been there his whole life or his actual dad who seems ok but not really been there for him) lol gotta love families!

yes defo! im glad im learning all of this stuff now and not in two years time! So far ive learnt about witnesses, giving notive, favours and wedding insurance! Even my h2b was shocked! x

my moh and the bm is ours as we have to put their names and addresses on the paperwork for handing into the registry office when we go and give notice. xxxx
