Ok, so I have my favors already (some candles shaped as roses wrapped in tulle) but we are concerned as most weddings we have been to there have been chocolates or something small to eat and I think my family kind of expect that so I was thinking of getting a lindt choc to put alongside the favor but not sure if this looks naff as there is one but at least its already in a white wrapper and doesnt need any messing with it. The ceremony is at 12 noon and canapes served after (three pp) but we are concerned that since the bridal breakfast isnt until 3pm with first course approx 3.30, people may be hungry waiting for first course. What do you all think? I also thought of placing a mini sweetie buffet by the cake but didnt think anyone would get up to them without us promoting them to. Forum Poll

i have found 50 truffles by l on bay of e so its not too much more to buy them.... just wondering if they will look ok with the candles or look silly

No I think they will be fine but have you tried the truffles do they taste ok? I only say this because I recently bought some of the chocolate heart favours off the bay of e and if I'm honest I was'nt overjoyed with them. They taste ok but I wish I would of bought a smaller quantity and tried them first. But if you know there ok then go for it x

ah thats a thought. Well there is one by me on cheshire oaks so I may go there first and try them. Also see if they can price match the ebay price as I have now seen 50 for £15

If it's not going to cost much, then you could have a few truffles for them whilst they wait, but i personally think one favour is enough. As a guest, i wouldn't even mind if there wasn't any favours. You get a meal and you get to be a part of your wedding day, thast's enough xxx
