My mum has found me some invites in a sale, but they are already made and you just fill in the blanks. Ive got to be honest, i actually really like them, they are white, with an engagement ring and wedding ring on the front and have diamantes on the engagement ring. But will people think they are tacky and cheap as they were not made??

If you like them get them, if not sure then dont hun. I am making mine with the help of another b2b which is working out quite cheap. have you looked on v***a to see how they work out? Then you have your stamp on them, if thats what you feel it needs.

Stop worrying! Plus the invites are a means to an end! They will get ur guests to the wedding at the right time and place. They're not gonna forever remember that ur invites weren't handmade x

ooooo I loves them invites. I was going to say if you want to make it look more home made do new inserts and add some ribbon if you really feel the need to but I wouldn't think anything of an invite if it was shop brought. If anything I would think it was more expensive than handmade.

I don't think shop brought are tacky at all.. Buy yourself a nice calligraphy pen for filling in the blanks and maybe buy some ribbon in your colour and add a bow, get some more bling to liven it up a bit. You could make them look just as lovely as they already sound xx

I think that you should do whatever you want. Invites can work out very expensive and and they really are just a means to an end. Im making mine because i have a friend who owns a craft shop so she is giving me a discount for the materials, but if i could find some already made that i liked then i would buy them! I begrudge spending too much money on them when they will probably just end up in the bin eventually! By the way, they are gorgeous lalabunni xx

Go for them! They sound lovely. You could always use the front and encorporate it into handmade cards if you want, like others have suggested.

They sound really nice and personally I don't think there's anything wrong with shop bought invites.
Our friend is making ours and it's worked out a heck of a lot more expensive than buying them (but it's our wedding present from her)

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

it depends where you get them from. As long as you dont buy a ridiculously cheap set then it will be fine as you want high quality paper/card that looks impressive as this is just as important as the design.
