After spending a week looking online for a wedding dressing I found one that I would suit my figure (it's a corset fit) and would still look good after I lose some weight ... so on impulse I bought it, without mentioning anything to my partner as it's something I want to do on my own!!! He's been looking for next years holiday (we always book early to get a discount), so he's found one that we were both happy with. Within hours of my ordering my dress he wanted to book next years holiday. When I started hesitating about booking (because of the amount I've already spent on my dress) immediately he says I'm hiding something. Yes I was!! I wanted to buy my dress & not tell him anything about it!! I had to tell him after he wouldn't let it go. His reaction 'Awwwww!' & a big cuddle.

I tell him most things apart - for example he knows about my dress that its white with red detail and that i've got hoops under it - part of telling him was for the colour scheme and the hoops was so he'd know that for our first dance there's hoops to contend with. :)

I don't keep things from him unless its important he doesn't know - mainly surprises for him so that's fine.

Sometimes i kep things from him if i'm trying to do something for him buts its soo hard coz he always knows im up to something.. Although i did manage a suprise birthday party for him in july with out him realising anything.. :D Hopefully i can keep my dress from hime. He knows about the color and price and when i will be buying it but i now when i have it i will want to show it to him.. lol..

I tell him absolutely everything. It's killing me not showing him my garter with his football team on and I want his opinion on my dress but at the same time want it to be a surprise

The minute i had bought my dress i just had to tell him or i would have burst keeping it to myself lol. He still doesnt know what it looks like but sometime i have to stop myself from telling him every tiny detail of my dress because i want it to be a surprise on the day.

I dont think there is anything wrong with telling your h2b everything. I even tell him things that happen to me through out the day lol

I tell H2B everything too, I will definitely be telling him when i've ordered my dress, I know I will be so excited and not be able to not tell him! I know i'll manage to keep the details secret though, I want it to be a complete surprise. I tell him everything else I do for the wedding though, he is really interested and wants to be involved. I also tell him details about my day often that other people would probably just thing are boring but he listens and lets me get it off my chest!!

i didn't realise you meant telling him things just in regard to wedding stuff. we are doing it all together so we discuss everything and agree before making any purchases or decisions minus my bridal outfit x

Actually i do tel lhim everything, he obviously doesnt know what dress i am wearing but he knows roughly how much its costs and that im traveling over an hour to the shop to get it lol!!

I think when it comes to money matters you kinda have to be honest without looking suspicious!
My h2b is pretty involoved with the plans becuase it's his wedding too, he has seen my bm dresses and I have seen his suits. He hasn't seen my dress tho :)

h2b knows i've bought it and doesn't know anything else about it. its really hard for me to not tell him about it though, i've nearly slipped up a couple of times. xx

My h2b doesnt want to know about my dress! I do tell him everything but with regards to the dress I think it's ok to keep in quiet. I do know he doesnt like particularly big dresses which is ideal as I look ridiculous in them anyway lol x

I tell my h2b almost everything...he hates surprises and knows when Im hiding something and always manages to get it out of me!

Hubby to be knows everything except what the dress looks like as he has had full organisation, but he also thinks the flowers are 100 cheaper than he thinks as he went mad at 1000 eeeek. Hope he doesnt go in the file. Other than this, yes he knows everything as we wanted to plan everything except my dress together.

We do tell each other everything and the only times we don't is if we've forgotton about it.

I have wanted to show similar dresses to mine to David but he's adament he doesn't want to know anything about it until he sees me...which, is killing me!

We talk about almost everything but there is some things that you have to keep to yourself like how much my dress actually cost or how much I charge my sister for cakes hahaha.....sometimes it's easier to keep quiet to avoid the fight and bend things ever so slightly.

H2B has seen a picture of the original design of my dress (Ronald Joyce) but hasn't seen the real thing - I ordered it from voldemort with a couple of changes. He knows how much it cost - but we have separate accounts anyway. We pretty much tell each other everything :)

I told Dan when I'd ordered & paid the deposit on my dress, I had talked to him about it as it was over budget. Then I made look through a magazine which had it in at all the pictures to see if he made any comments on it, I told him what material it was, length and neckline. He worried me as he told me what he imagined me in, and the dress I chose was nothing like it! But in the end he said he loved my dress and it was perfect.

I also told him I wasnt sure about it, and he was the first person i text when I went back to try it on again and fell in love with it. He got all emotional and just cant wait to see me in it!

I have not told him I am wearing a veil though. That is gonna be a suprise.

I tell him everything apart from little surprises that I have planned for him for wedding day, although I've almost let a few slip and then last night I stupidly let slip that he's going paintballing for his stag do. His best man has organised it and I had a momentary lapse of concentration and said "Oh, by the way, don't let anyone shoot you in the face when you go paintballing..." I realised just as I said it and it was too late. I couldn't stop apologising. I feel so awful!

my h2b knows my dress is ivory and he knows how much it cost. He doesn't know I am having a veil and tiara comb, he doesn't know about my jewellery. Everything else he knows...apart from that I used to be a man(hahahaha) i'm kidding of course...

I've just had to omit why I've spent extra money - but it is a wedding gift for him so he can't complain :)
