I plan to make all my flower girls dresses myself...my question is the dresses are to be made from tulle, and i want them poofy looking.
do I need a hooped petticoar or will the layers of tulle be poofy on thier own?
I figre if i need a hoop i will scrap the idea of making them, i am making them to save money but if i then need a hoop i can get by dresses cheap off the bay of e....

I cant afford the tulle till next month at the earliest, but once made i will be sure to post photos of the dresses, without pettitcaots i have costed them out at £10 each or less

how about popping into a local shop explaining the idea and seeing if they have any little hoop sets that you could try / either hire rather than buy because remember if you purchase you've got to store them afterwards or sell :)
