Do you have to take your bra off when trying them on or should I just wear a strapless bra?? I don't have much up top and hoping to get a strapless bra to fit under my dress for a small bit of shape otherwise I will look like a child :-(

You dont have to take your bra off. I went very unprepared and had a bra with straps and a thong and it was fine. However I would advise to wear full knickers as it was quite embarrassing having my bum on show whilst trying the dresses on haha. As for the bra just tucked my straps in and folded down the bra if I needed to. It wont be a problem, obviously once you have found the dress you will know what type of underwear you need and it would be advisable to take the correct underwear to fittings etc. Xxx

I wore full knickers and a strapless bra (went and bought new so I didnt wear the grey ones lol!) I found the let you get the dress on and then come in the room to do it up. Only one lady insisted she actually put the dress on which was uncomfortable and I didnt like the lady//shop/dresses!

I went with a full bra and good pants. I am not comfortable with my chest being on show, so I just slipped down the straps once I was in my dress!

I had leggings on and left them on under the dress :-), then just tucked the straps in x

Wear a bra, as not all dresses will be your size some may be to small and some to big so keep your modesty! X

I always just wear my pants! They've seen it all before and boobs are just Boobs! I don't have much book age and the dress obtained on couldn't and didn't require me to wear a bra so I just release Them! Gives a true picture and Fit!
And we lived happily ever after!

Some shops said leave my bra on but the one where I bought my dress from said to take it off. I wasn't bothered though, they see it every day lol x

I was left to get undressed behind a curtain, then she came with dresses and put them in for me. I wore straps in my bra, but she didn't mind me tucking them in. X

I have teeny tiny boobies and I wore a bra as it gives me some shape!!! I am currently trying to find a nice strapless bra in my size (30A) for my big day but not having much luck. Do whatever you feel comfortable with hun.

i tried on a dress with my bra on and the fit wasn't very good, so they told me to take it off and the dress fitted much better - i too am very small on top, but they can give you 'chicken fillets' or can have cups sewn into the dress to give a bit more oomph

I wore a normal bra and tucked the straps in. They tell you to get down to your pants and bra and came and put the dress over y head and did them up for me. They were lovely and see it all the time so don't worry

I wore a strapless bra and a thong so that i could see if the dress would give me a VPL as the style i like is fitted!
I HATE getting changed in bridal shops, i always feel rushed getting in it and they're like "are you in.." then they come in and do you up once i finally say yes. Because i go for fitted dresses i find the take a fraction longer to get into and if you get in it wrong it is impossible to twist round without taking it off..or the ones i tried on wouldnt!!
I've not yet experienced a shop that watches me get in the dress, theyve all left me to climb into it and then come to fit me up!

The way I see it, boobs are boobs, we all got them! big, small, high, low, lopsided and one not quite so round as the other! They'll seen it all before and will be looking at the dress.... I'm not wearing a bra with my dress as its a corset so I'm just gonna the corset do its job (which is y it's there!) x

The shops, that I have been to all asked me to strip down to knickers and bra, if I wanted to wear one. It depended on what type of dress I was trying on. They would tell me which underskirt to put on and then either came in with the dress if it needed lifting over my head or just handed the dress in, if I could step into it and then zipped me up or tied me in, whichever applies. I must say, I thought they were all lovely and tried to give me as much privacy as possible.

I did feel really conscious about someone i didnt know helping me into a dress, i dont like to expose my lumps and bumps to just anyone unless im on a beach somewhere hot! I soon moved passed the worried stage as she got the sponges out and had to pad the dresses id chosen out, she had her hands down the back, saw my bum, saw most the boobs as the dresses were falling down. It was quite a giggle actually.
Just relax and go with it, you'll forget all about the worry of getting naked once you seen yourself in a pretty dress :D
