So i had completely forgot that my SIL2B went to college and did hairdressing and does friends & family hair but not sure if she works in salon etc will have to find out but felt rude asking.

Anyway was messageing lat night on book of face and she was asking how things going etc and she comments about my hair and said she would do it which I hadnt even thought about but I feel like i should allow her to 1 to save some pennies and 2 as she will be family.

We live a good hour and half away but MIL2B goes over ever 6 weeks to have her hair coloured so trials not a problem as can always go when she goes etc but what Im wondering is if you lovely ladies think I should concider her offer and use my normal hairdresser etc?

I dont want offen her if she realyl wants to do it but also I dont want to worry that i have to be nice and polite etc lol x

    Whats ur opinions girls xx

If she's any good then i'd let her do it! Every bit of money that you can save will help! If when you have a trial though that you think your normal hairdresser would do a better job then i'd go with your normal hairdresser x

My friend said that she'd do mine and my bridesmaids. It's going to save so much money. And another friend has offered to do the makeup and nails.

I would ask her if she would do a trail, think the hair is quite important and you want it to be right but it will save u a lot of money, so if u can be honest with her and tell her if u need it changed then i would go for it x

Have a trial. If you don't like it you could always say you want her to enjoy the day rather than be worried about doing your hair - if you have any trouble saying no to her

My SIL2b offered to do mine as soon as we got engaged! She had been cut/colouring my hair for a few years, but she started to get a bit un-reliable, always seemed to b in a rush and saying she would get this for my hair and that and never getting it! Now I just buy my own bleach/ peroxide from salon supplies and my friend who has got nvq in hairdressing,( but only does a bit on the side )puts it on and cuts for only £15 x

But my SIL2b is still doing my hair for the wedding as my friend is not confident enough to do it!
i hope I don't regret my desicons to let her do it! Only time will tell, if she starts letting me down for hair trials I will find someone else. My hair is very important to me and I don't want to b stressing about it lol

My advice is to have a few trials, try different styles and see how you feel after that! I understand it's difficult as she is family but just b honest with her she will understand that it's the biggest day of ur life and u want it perfect! :-) x
