So i decided to make my own seating chart and it looks crap! i'm very sad :-( it doesn't look straight and looks so amateur. I'm looking at people to make it for me but dont want to spend a lot of money.Any advice?

^^ good post... they shouldnt cost too much by most weddingey invite people... if youre that worried, it would be worth the cost... or do something novel instead that doesn't require you lining up straight, like numbering/labelling flower pots/cans/jars/whatever with table names/numbers and putting something in them with names of those on the tables such as pencils/wands/lollysticks, spoons and then placing them in a tray or something! Perhaps they can be a take home favour too!

We have purchased a mutli-picture frame for ours to avoid it not quite lining up and for something a little different. It's also purple so matches our colour scheme, plus we can put Wedding Photos in it after the day :)

Cost us about £16 from the bay.

Rachel, you've probably done a great job so don't be too hard on yourself. I haven't looked at prices yet for this so can't offer much advice. I'm thinking of just keeping mine simple so that there is less to go wrong with it. X
