Absolutley distraught h2b got diagnosed with bowel cancer last night Trying and failing miserabley to be strong for him. He is being so positive!! Surgery hopefully within the next few days and then chemo for 6 months.

Hun I know how horrible this is to have your h2b so ill but at least they have diagnosed an initiated a treatment plan. You will both get through this together. Don't try to be strong for him talk to him be strong together. I hope you two start to get over the shock soon xxxx

Oh no! Big hugs honey to you and your H2B!! If you ever you need to chat you know us ladies are behind you and H2B 110% my dad got diagnosed with skin cancer last year and had an op and has just had his yearly check up! Luckily he has the all clear so stay positive!! It CAN be beaten! xxxxxxxx

Thank you all soooo much for all your kind words. We have been told his surgery is planned for friday as he is having discomfort from eating as its obstructing food getting through so cos of that he has jumped the gun .
We will prob have to postpone but not 100% sure yet

My thoughts are with you both right now. It wont be easy but have faith in the doctors and your H2B's strength. I'm sure you can all pull through this. If you have to pospone the wedding then so be it, im sure everyone will understand.
Have you thought about the possibility if he is still in hospital of having a small service at the hospital, just a few close family as witnesses and then let the reception go ahead as planned, you may be able to attend for a couple of hours?
