My little cousins (18) asked if she could come to my hen weekend but my sister who is BM and organising it had aske dlast week if everyone was over 25 so I assumed that it was for whatever activities she was planning. So I phoned her last night to find out if she could change it easy enough so that cousin could come anyway after a lengthy chat she decided to tell me that it wasn't the activity it was the place to stay that requires everyone to be over 25 so I couldn't decide if cousin could come or not as I didn't know what we were doing so my sister decided to tell me what she was thinking and its helps me decide that my cousin cant come.
Its only my idea of the best hen weekend A big lodge so everyone sleeping in the same place with a hot tub and on site spa and organised activities and its close to a big city centre so close enough for a night out as well as plenty of fun in the lodge. I felt a bit rotten saying cousin couldnt come but she can come to my hen do in glasgow.
Disappointed that I now know what my sister was planning but now hoping it all comes together and my friends think its affordable enough as I think I would be disappointed if it doesn't work out now.

Is it worth your BM calling and explaining the situation? As it's only one person who is 18? Hopefully they can make an exception?
if shes over the legal age, them dictating further restrictions on age is rather ageist .

That does sound like an amazing Hen party! Can they really put restrictions on under 25's? I know some bars and clubs have over 21 only.

Its a lodge site and it stipulates that any groups of same sex must be over the age of 25 there is no exceptions.
I've spoke to my cousin and she is happy as long as she gets to go to the Glasgow hen do. I feel that because she is only 18 and everyone else is 29+ she might not feel at ease. My Glasgow hen do will be a mixed aged group and will be more her idea of fun.

Bit harsh ... I can see why rules apply if it literally is a mass group of 18 year olds but you'd think they'd make an exception for just one x

There used to be a bar in town for over 25's only and it didn't last long lol Sounds like the Glasgow hen do will be fun though :)

Will they take the ID of everybody there? If not just say that she is 25. I'm sure if she is with a group of 25+ and not a group of teens it would be ok.

Not sure if they will ask to see Id but everyone needs to be present when checking in.
My cousin is ok with it so that's all that matters she said as long as she gets to go to one. We wouldn't get away wth saying she is 25 she looks about 15.
