Hey everyone, so we are planning on trying to save money wherever we can and are roping in friends and family to help out where they can with their talents/skills. My grandad is retired and loves photography so i thought it would be a great idea if he could do the photography for us, would save us a fortune and would be a great wedding gift for us. Also my grandma is an artist and she has offered to do our wedding album for us :)

So i rang mr grnadad and asked abou him doing the photography for us and he said he doesnt taking some pictures but it is a big responsibility and doesnt want to be in charge of all the photos incase they get lost etc. Which i totally understand but now i am unsure what to do. Normally i would be the one taking pics and to be honest i dont think i will be able to resist taking a fe myself. But now i dont want to put all this pressure on my grandad and dont want to rely on him if he only takes a few. But we cant afford a proffessional.

Any ideas on how we can capture our day with litle/no money??

hey have you tried your local gumtree?? sometimes there are people just starting out, or college students who will do it for little or no money to gain experience and help build their portfolio... worth a try??

You could ask all of your friends to bring their camera's and send you the shots afterwards. This won't cover a big group shot (which you probably want your grandad in?!), but the rest of the day will be covered.
