I've fallen in love with the r@inb0w c1ub sparkly shoes for the flowergirl but they are £35/£40 which is a lot imo for one day. We have 3 flowergirl and a bridesmaid so I don't know what to do? Do I buy ten for mine and let my mil and sil by their kids ( other flowergirl and bridesmaid) whatever shoes they want? As they keep showing me ones I don't really like n wouldn't put mine in or do I keep searching to find cheaper ones but nice ones? Don't know what to do?

Id let them all buy their own. That way they will definitely wear them again and will be comfortable on the day. That's what I'm going to say to my sister (MOH).

They are paying for their kids shoes and first I wanted them all to have the r@inb0w ones but can't expect them to spend that much ( although they would if it was for theirs!) so not sure if I should just go out and get mine then tell them this is what we have buy your own rather than offering to get them all together then get money back off them as don't want them stropping about the price or trying to get money back off them as still waiting on some!

I would suggest it to them to buy the same if that's what they want but be open minded that they might want different ones. I think that when you are asking for someone to pay for things themselves you have to expect a little give and take but you never know they may love them!

I agree with Emily, tell them what you have bought and that it would be great to be the same but you understand that might not be possible because of the price but that ones similar would be preferable! Good luck!

I would never expect them to spend more than they want just not sure I'm ready for any snarky comments about wasting money on shoes blablabla and I'm happy them picking different shoes just wish I could find the ones I like Cheaper but can't :(

Have you tried other online shops like bay of e? I've heard good things of those style of shoes as my SIL suggested getting my wedding shoes from there.

I've tried loads of websites can't find anything similar to the ones I like, they either look really cheap ( and don't want my lo having to wear cheap shoes if they'll rub their feet) don't get be wrong I'll happily by some from supermarkets but the ones online look like they might rub :/ x

:( oh no, might be best to just by the expensive ones. Could you maybe sell them afterwards if they won't wear them again?

Have found some nice pink shoes cheaper than the ones I originally found ( finally) but they are pink and our colour are navy blue and ivory BUT we have pink in the flowers so would it look weird them having pink shoes or would that look nice? I think it will go nicely but when I mentioned it to oh family they didn't really say anything so don't no if they like the idea. Should I just go with it anyway or is it silly having pink shows with Ivory dress and navy sash?

I think it would depend how bright they are. A subtle shade might look ok.

I've uploaded photos to flowergirl album to show the colours the flats are for two younger ones 2&3 and heeled ones for 5&11yrs do you think they would go? ( flowers are white and dusky pink) I'm trying to decide if they would work If not will be silver ones that are all flat but was hoping to get slight heel for bigger girls x

I think the shade of the heeled shoes goes slightly better. The flats would be ok though. I don't think it'd be too noticeable.

I like the idea of them standing out but only if they look like they are ment to go and not look odd :/ as seen lots pics of bridesmaids wearing coloured shoes but not sure :/ I love the shoes just not sure if they would look right x
