Hi everyone i would like opinions about different dresses for my bridesmaids ive got my CB a strapless dress and my other one a halterneck they are different shades of purple an i like them both but the one ive got the halterneck for is moaning about the fact ive told her it doesnt matter an its what i want but she still not happy an i cant afford to get her a new dress :( x

Scream very loudly for a very long time then phone your friend and see if you can sort something out....is it the colour, the style, or because its different to the other one, maybe she feels frumpy or that you are trying to cover her up for some reason. If you have inadvertently hurt her feelings in some way apologise then explain whay you have chosen what you have chosen and that that is what you have chosen and tell her you hope she will be happy to wear it for you. Maybe there is a simple solution with some cheap alterations a little jacket but If she can't get past it then say if she is so unhappy you will understand if she doesnt want to be bridesmaid and offer her some other way to take part because it means a lot to you that she does. If she still has a problem you have to decide what is more important to you your BM or the dress. Maybe she will be willing to buy a new dress that you could go & pick together? or maybe the dress should stay and the BM change but don't ruin a frienship if you can possibly avoid doing so. Whatever happens deal with it and move on because that has to be better than churning it over and over and getting stressed. You will have given her 2 options but you can't make the choice for her, her choice, her problem, let her deal and move on knowing you did your best so don't beat yourself up about it.

up to you if you like them then do it! my friend had different styles of bm dresses but all in black looked nice! i was thinking of doing this but had found a matching dress of one i already owned x
