Shabby chic and wintage sort of go hand in hand as they are generally include things like mini ornamental bird cages or wooden hearts e.t.c

Rustic refers to a more farm like theme but not farm; it appreciates the environment with use of plants as floral pieces e.t.c along with the farm house kind of feel; these often take place in decorated farm like areas though this is only the general idea I have been getting. You can adapt it to yourself.

Not sure about court but garden is just if you have your wedding in the grounds of somewhere or in a 'garden'; under a gazebo e.t.c

    :)

Thankyou hun. Im not sure we are having a theme as its added stress of everything matching up. Just doing research and a lot of companies call lots of things vintage not sure if its a bit of a sales tactic with vintage weddings being so big xx

We're doing a vintage tea party kind of thing, so lace and birds, but big jars of sweets and tea cups, with a twist of Alice in Wonderland mixed in here and there, with flamingos and eat me/drink me tags.

Shabby Chic i imagine buttons and materials, like ties on the seats instead on a sash of material, handmade felt cushions and things like that.

Country Garden, i imagine a lot of flowers and colours, floral decorations and things like seeds/bulbs as favours. Also a little animal twist maybe?

Just my interpretation of the words, could be completely off!
    xx

My theme is country rustic, ie mason jars, wicker hearts, fairy lights, burlap, slate hearts, wooden signs, If you have a look on pin#terest, you can add your theme as the search and lots of pictures will pop up, or goo@ gle and click on images.

I always imagine shabby chic to be white, cream with some dusty pink. Vintage I see as any colour. Rustic I imagine as not being too neat, with things being naturally shaped or natural in appearance. For example a bow wouldn't be perfect, one bit might be a lot longer than the other. I suppose a country garden would be anything to do with gardens. Lots of greenery and flowers. X

Just had a quick look and had a search for all, they all seem quite similar so you could take the elements from each what you like which blend in together.

My first thoughts are vintage is tea cups and saucers, lace, creams, bird cages. Shabby chic, more cath kidston patterns for bunting etc, rustic as someone else described items from natural sources, wooden hearts, wooden logs for stands etc, country garden I imagine to be a mix of vintage and shabby chic.

You could enter your theme in bay of e, and see what items come up for people selling from their wedding. I imagine your venue could decide which theme will work the best for you. In my post before, I mentioned we are doing country rustic our venue is a marquee and the side will be rolled up giving all outdoor views of fields and golf course and trees so mine is quite outdoorsie.

I liked all of them but we have just picked out things we liked, so no theme at all! I guess at a push it would be shabby with a hint of vintage but i havent gone out of my way to stick to anything. I think you should just pick what you both like and not get everything to tie in. But thats just my opinion!

We've taken our own interpretation of all of these "themes" and chosen what we like and felt would be right. So we've ended up with dusky pink bridesmaids dresses, I've got a lace and pearl dress and our venue will have a LOT of pastel coloured bunting, pinks, lilacs, blues, peaches, greens. We're collecting jars for our flowers and candles and have made mini bunting for the tops. We've got an assortment of cake stands for our desert table. And the beauty of it, absolutely nothing matches. Everything is handmade so isn't perfect and it works and hasn't caused any stress. Xx

I'd say vintage and shabby chic the same , creams, pinks, birdcages, cherubs etc, rustic is like ours,we are having nothing too samey, yellows, browns and greens, pieces of logs, wheat in the flowers, nothing too tidy ... Country garden like pots of flowers with hand picked posies like daisies etc gypsophilia, hessian and twine, curls in hair with hair down, more free flowing dresses etc x
