My question (for those of you who have seen me post before will know my parents are OTT with traditionalness and have taken over the wedding a little but are the major contributors), based on this would you get H2B parents the same gift at my parents?
I was thinking of getting them both a nice photo frame and then a voucher for afternoon tea at the Grosvenor in Chester. I was wondering if I should really get my parents a little something extra in their hotel room or something like a bottle of wine that they had at their engagement they love?

My parents will be getting an extra special gift, they help out a lot with Connor and will be our main sitters with anything we need to do wedding related, I've already got them a mob/fob personalised coaster and will get them other bits, mil will get a small something she does nothing for us but give us stress and she hates me. I'm not spending a lot of money on gifts. I'm thinking of a large personalised candle for the ladies in then wedding party in a lovely box etc and dad I might get some cufflinks. I was just going to get flowers but mil hates flowers and then thought about a chocolate bouquet but my mum hates chocolate so I don't know what to do. Personally if mil keeps going then way she is she shouldn't get anything but I'm/we aren't that petty and wouldn't give people the opportunity to talk about us.
The personalised stuff they will get the morning of the wedding as well as a bottle of their favourite alcoholic drink amongst other wee things.

After the wedding I'm going to get my parents a canvas of Connor in his kilt on the wedding day as a thank you too.

you could get them mini photo albums of pics from you photographer after the wedding be a lovely keep sake x
