My bridesmaids have decided they want Dessy Dresses, which are £200 each.

Does anyone know where I maybe able to pick them up a little cheaper. I have looked at the US, but by the time I have factored in Customs/VAT/Handling it only works out around £50 cheaper and for the hassle, i'm not sure it's worth it.

I agree with lala, if they've decided they want expensive dresses then they can pay for them x

I picked the dress and so therefore I paid for it. However, if you are happy to give them an inch say fine but you have to approve it and they pay for it.

I agree with the other ladies. If they want dresses that are that expensive then tell them how much you can afford and they need to pay the rest, or they will have to pick different dresses that are within budget xxx

Surely as the bride you should be choosing the dresses not the bridesmaids!? Just tell them what your budget is and say they've got to stick to it. It's up to them then if they want to choose more expensive dresses and offer to make up the difference. Stick to your guns lady, you're the bride - you're the boss! xx

Thanks for all your messages. I've just re-read my post and realised how it sounds!

I've decided that I want to girls to have Dessy Dresses, we did pick them together and the girls look amazing, which is really important to me. The girls have also offered to contribute.

I was just looking to see if anyone had come across a stockist that was a little cheaper before I order them.

Oh I see! Dessy dresses are normally very similar in price no matter what shop you go to so I don't think you will find them cheaper. The only option that would make them cheaper is if you were to have replica's of the dresses made, but they wouldn't look exactly the same as the originals xxx
