Set a budget, think about colours, go dress shopping, put guest list together/send out invites. That's a good start! x

The way we picked our colour scheme, is that I told H2B my 3 fave colours for the wedding (yellow, lilac or light blue) and he could have the final say. He, of course, chose light blue! x

as kayteeG has said poss choose your favourite colours or can you take any inspiration from your venue? If there's any strong colours there then maybe someting that will compliment? Wll done on finding your dress :) x

Are you going to send out save a date or just invites??? have a girly day out where you go shopping and look at different dresses and colours not just in bridal shops. Go to a wedding fair.

    Hope this helps

If you've set your budget I think your colour scheme is the next thing to decide on, helps you pick out everything else from bridesmaids dresses to flowers........

I couldn't find any either and didnt even like any of them tbh on VP! I ordered mine from the card gallery think its called and i paid £40 for mine!

Its a brill site tho because they do table plan, invitiations, rsvps everything you can think of in the same design so everything matches :-)

I think I may have to go without if I cant find any that are reeeeaaaalllly cheap. Skint unfortunately (cats vets bills, decorating and wedding/honeymoon taking nearly every penny we have :-( )

I dont mind though, might just have to call round everyone. I didnt even know about save the date cards before I booked my wedding. This stuff is all brand new to me as I've hardly been to any weddings :-/

Laura, I bought my Save the date cards from Card Gallery too, was really happy with them although I think I would like different invitations, does this matter or should they match? xx
