    Hi all,

I want to go for a relaxed, summery pastel theme and have been think about what to do about flowers and decor etc. I was all up for doing as much as it as I could but the more I think about it the less I think I will be capable of doing it. I'm perfectly happy to make stuff but it's the dressing of the venue that I don't think I could do. So been looking around for florists etc,

I really like the flowers in this pic

But, i've no idea how much stuff like this costs? I'm not having long tables, round - maybe even different sizes - not decided yet so wouldn't need quite so many flowers. Any one got any ideas how much flowers like this would cost?

    Lizzy. x

Unfortunately I have no idea on flower prices, this is the stage I'm at also!
the only thing I can suggest is get a few different ideas together and take them to local florists to you to get an idea of pricings! You don't have to book or decide there and then just means you get a true reflection on what sort of costings you are looking at.
Different florists, different areas of the country, they will all vary in price! 2 florists in the high street by my parents had a good £60-70 difference on the bridal bouquet alone!
    Hope that helps xx

From the look of the pictures alot of what is tehre is folage with a few flowers placed so there would be nothing stopping you cutting a few branches down from trees/bushes you like and the just getting af ew flowers to put in them that will save some pennies for you?!

With regards to prices not sure as they can vary lots as Lula has said. the otehr thing to try is not mention the word "wedding!". If possible pop and and ask for a price for something like this and if they ask then say of its for an arragnement for someone as lots add a huge charge on because its wedding stuff xx

    Hi,

I am having the same sort of thing. I viewed the websites of local florists to ensure they kind of captured the theme (wild flowers, pastel colours) I found small chains were cheaper. If you use more foliage is is also cheaper, as is using in season flowers. If your florist is well trained, theyll be able to recommend flowers in different price ranges..... Go meet a few. I think my florist has an open FB page with a few prices..... Let me know if your interested and Ill see if I can PM you a link x
