    Good evening ladies :)
Before you all think I'm a bit bonkers for worrying about this prematurely I do have good reason! Ross and I have a baby due at the beginning of November and we were wanting to get all the details over and done with before then.
Our Church has 8 windows, 4 at either side and we've already decided to have 4 memorial candle displays (2 at each side) to remember our loved ones that are no longer with us but we're a bit stuck with what to fill the other windows with.
Ross has an allergy to flowers so we're keeping them to an absolute minimum, we've looked at balloons but don't think they're really appropriate for inside the church - any ideas are MORE than welcome!!

Then we have the altar table...........am at a total loss with it.
And then there are the pew ends. My aunty got married at the same Church and she had bows, problem is they're narrow aisles and they kept catching on the BM dresses.

Just looking for a bit of input, any and all ideas are appreciated. TIA xxx

But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

We thought about the pictures in the frames and Ross' mum flipped - one of them is Ross' brother who died suddenly at the age of 16 and as I'm sure you can imagine, it's quite raw with the family especially his mum :( Thanks for the idea though, really appreciate it xxx

how about mementoes??rather than pictures, maybe something that reminds you of them??
and as for flowers, im being a little bit different and have bought a load of wooden roses off ebay- 100 for £11 and am going to get some greenery from hobbycraft and make some displays myself-am getting all the kids i know to help me so they may not look the most professional, but they will be awesome!!!!

The mementoes are a fab idea! tyvm :)
Loving the wooden roses idea.......Ross is a carpenter so something like that would tie in really well. I bet once you've done it they'll look wonderful!!

We have a problem with decorating our church too as the pews have solid sides so not easy to attach anything to them without leaving a mark. Going to wait until we talk to the lady about flowers before we panic too much. On another note, any ideas on how to make the church smell nicer? Ours smells very fusty!

Before planning too much please check what you may be allowed to do as well as it is a place of worship so you may not be allowed to do much with the altar table, for example! I read a story about someone who was landed with a big bill for works as their florist started using nails and drawing pins and causing damage that someone - Bride and Groom - ended up having to pay for.

What about ivy instead of flowers? Always looks pretty and you could go and get it free or even get fake stuff on wire which is really easy to use x
