Thought that I would start the official December 2012 thread.
I have been in the 2012 thread and the Dec 2011 thread, getting some fab ideas, so thought it was about time that the December 2012 girls could have a place together.
Where am I now? Stuck, is where I am at!!!!! It sounds terrible but I shall be keeping a close eye on this years trends and then looking out for the "sales" in the ope to get some fab bargains for the wedding. We are now looking at venues but not too sure if it is too soon to start booking...........?
Anyways, I look forward to the coming weeks and months planning our December days x

Hi Jae,
Thanks for starting this thread! I'm getting married on 9th December 2012. I started planning a few months ago and have already booked the venue, bought my dress and made my flowers! I know it's early but our budget is quite tight so I'm trying to pick up bargains as and when I see them.

Hey Kirsty!
We you thinking of doing "crackers" for the tables?
CommentAuthorCraftyKirsty
I did think about it. I'm going to see how cheap they are after Christmas.
What colour scheme are you going to have? I'm having red with some silver thrown in.
CommentAuthorStave
I am hoping to set some this year in the sales. At the mo I dont have a theme other than the fact that I have already bought mink bridesmaid dresses (we moved our day from Feb to Dec)
My SIL2B is getting married in Aug ad having red as her theme, so I defo wont be having any red. I like ivory but I might brave it and go for all out white with splashes of mink. But not too sure if I am brave enough!
Your bridesmaid dresses are lovely!! I think mink and white would look great.
CommentAuthorMinniemoocher
Kirsty your bouquet is lovely :)

Ohhhh I must take a peek at your pics!

Oh girls! I saw a fab wedding cake on the Great Cake Bake. It was plain white tiers, but on the outside were giant snowballs of chocolate cake covered in white icing! Looked fab!

I am thinking about it, but my word, it takes some class to pull it off :-0 and a sexy tanned bridal party! PMSL most of my girls would look more like corned-beef skin and slapped cheeks with their skin colourings ;-)

STRESSED!!!!!
I have been twiddling my thumbs waiting for time to pass before I get into major plan mode. Thought that I would start around Nov this year. But it seems that I have been wasting my time and being lazy. The week before the wedding, the accomodation that we wanted is fully booked :-0 They will release the rooms in the next week or so for the dates we want, I havent even asked the close family about it yet! So now I am stressing big time! I just dont know what to do ................

Awww thank you hon; hand on heart my dress is the best thing I've ever worn / seen; I think I'm a bit in love with it he he.
Yes doing centrepieces myself; we already had the vases and they've come in at £25 each, rather than £50 I was quoted elsewhere. Silver and blue are lovely and festive; like a winterwonderland! deep blue dresses are gorge xx

I'm trying to find bridesmaid dresses at the moment, hoping to get some nice red ones now the christmas dress stock is in. Going on the hunt with all the girls tomorrow so fingers crossed!
Future mrs mac - I'm wearing red suede ankle boots on my wedding day. They are really cute and I think they will give my traditional dress a bit more of an edge.

we putting it in the centre of our tables lol. were having them (this is only way can explain them) branches sprayed white with shimmer on with some led lights (i promise it looks the biz when you see them lol) in mirrored pots surrounded with the snow (little crystals will be in the snow). just waiting to hear back from the venue whether we can have a snow machine for our first dance :0) fingers crossed lol x
