Our honeymoon will be in January and we can't decide where to go either. Have thought about Mexico, but also Goa, Kenya, Carribean and South America - no idea how to choose!!! We would like to go for 2-3 weeks and spend some time 'doing' and some time 'chilling' so thinking safaria and beach is winning at the moment. Let us know what you decide :-)

Is Egypt stable politically these days? I would be a little wary of staying anywhere where there has been major problems in the last few years.

Hubby and I went on a last minute deal in December to Sharm in Egypt a couple of years back and it only cost us about £300 all inc.! It was in the low 20's temp wise, which is warm enough to be in t-shirts (and cold enough for the locals to be in ski jackets, which we thought was hilarious!) Be warned, their 5* isn't necessarily OUR 5* but you can find some great deals. And if you go, I'd highly recommend a snorkelling trip - awesome.
