I've come to the decision that it might be easier to have a pair of heels for the ceremony/early reception, and then a cute pair of white glittery ballet shoes/pumps for the dancing and so forth.
What are other people planning on doing? Does my idea make sense, or am I being as looney as usual? xxx

Makes perfect sense - my bridesmaids are def having a pair of heels for daytime/pictures and then some lovely glitzy flip flops for dancing!! I will be doing the same lol

Just remember though girls!!! if your wearing high heels during the day and then flats on the evening, your dress will be longer on the evening. xx

i'm wearing flat shoes all day if it looks alright with my dress. I was going to get some ballet shoes and get them customised with swarovski crystals. I don't really 'do' heals and would spend the whole day moaning
Good call there Melly!! Never really thought of that, lol! Can you dance in flip flops, I know I'd struggle!! lol xxx

I'm doinf this. My dress will be bustled in the evening which should help with the length. If it won't work though it will be flats all day.

I thought about swapping shoes but decided against it, because like melly has said your dress will be longre and i don't want it getting reuined!! But if i am in to much pain i will take my shoes off for a short while!! but will be wearing them in at home so hopefully they won't be to painful!! xx

i'm probably gonna go for flats for the whole day! I'm not good with heels for any length of time. Would be tempted to wear flip flops but i'm getting married in November so it'd be a bit cold even for me! x

I'm having heels in the day and a pair of dressed up pink converse in the evening! Comfort and cool!

Great idea hun, but I just don't suit flat shoes, make me look even bigger than what I am lol (it makes sense in my head lol)... But if it is what you want then go for it! Don't want you injuring yourself on the dance floor lol x x
Do not disturb... Already disturbed enough!

Well I have 3inch heels for during the day and would have really liked higher heels for 1st dance as H2B is 6ft 5 but my dress has been altered in length to go with the 3inch heels so my dress would look short if I got higher heels so I think I need to just stick with what I have xx

I am thinking along those lines as well as I think the shoes I am wearing during the day won't last through the evening as well. The dress should be able to cope lengthwise.

Thats a brilliant Idea. I also have 2 pairs, but may end up with 3... my ceremony shoes are electric blue, with big heels. My second pair is white satin with lower heels, though I'm tempted to get some sparkly white flats for dancing, though I have to find a way to pick my dress up a little, as the train is totally unforgiving and wraps around my ankles :o\
