I am none of the things said in the category by the way lol, but this fits best in there i guess..

Sometimes when I get bored or feel a bit down (bored being the case today) I start thinking about the future and starting our little family :-) I trawl through baby sites see what sort of pram I will want etc.. (Yes I'm broody as hell lol) And I often land on the 'What will we call it?' question...
I have a thing that I don't want to name my baby a name that is in the top 100 names and/or is in the top 100 for the past 3-4years before they're born.. I don't want my kids going to school with 5 other kids in their class with the same name lol..
Anyhoo, I have realised that there is not one boys name I like that I would actually name a baby boy.. It gets me worried that if I have a boy he'll be nameless haha....
I won't name them with anything with a 'th' in as my stepsons don't pronounce 'th' properly and I don't want my baby growing up thinking they have an 'f' in their name...

It's a way away yet, but just thought I'd share my random thoughts with you all lol :-) xxx

i do this allll the time although i already have 3 beautiful children lol i would love another one and in articular a boy although i really wouldnt care . but i know i would call him kynance after the most beautiful cove i live nearby and everytime i see it it takes my breath away . i know its not to everyones taste but i like it (that woman on this morning the other week obviously wouldnt let her children near him lol but i have a jack and jessica which i believe she allows but my littlest princess "sky" wont be allowed either!) i love unusual names although i dont think i would go so far as to naming a child after a piece of fruit! "come along melon we need to catch up with pineapple" just doesnt work for me

We don't really like any boys names and like you would like something unusual after us both having really common names. My youngest brother who's 6 is called Keaton. Which is really unusual, I've never known anyone to have the same name as him xx

We have soooooo many J's in our family, especially my cousins, my mum and aunties go through 8 names just to get to the right one lol.. Eldest stepson is also a J.. Youngest is an A and our last name begins with H and I'm not keen on the alliteration of first name and last name lol..

I loved Phoenix, Raven and Luna for a girl but all have been poo pooed by either H2B or my mum :-( plus my bro and sils name for a girl is now Phoebe so Phoebe and Phoenix would be a bit daft.. And Luna and Phoenix are crawling up the name table ! Grrr !
I love Theodore for a boy but don't want him to think his name is Feodore, plus it's getting more and more popular, cause of the Chipmunks movies I reckon lol.. Xxx

My brother is Jake too MrsHall, well Jacob really :-) I looooove the name Darcey but H2Bs cousin already used it xxx

See funny you say that Claire cause my 14yo stepson knows loads of people with his name, which has been in the top 10 for god knows how many years so its not surprising but he doesn't know anyone with an unusual name, and my youngest stepson 6, knows 3 people in his school with his name and I thought it was a fairly unpopular name when I got with h2b but more and more are creeping out the woodwork lol.. He also goes to school with a lot of Ellie Mays, Lily-Mays, Ella, Ava, Eva and basically any variation of those you can find lol.. Alfie, Harry, George, Henry, Noah, Leo are in circulation a lot lot lot now too.. When youngest talks about school it's always a name and then their last name follows as so many have the same names as each other lol xxx

Haha that'd been aaaawesome Lana !!!! Though not a great thing for the school years lol.. I loved Isobelle but then youngest SS mentioned 3 Isobelle's just in his group of friends lol..

I'm not a fan of all these old names at all. Ethel, Marnie, someone i know just called there daughter Matilda and another Arabella (which i think sounds like a name you'd call a cow :/ )

I always day dream about names, things that i'd get if i had a boy as well. But my little girl has a lot. She's the first granddaughter, so she is a little spoilt atm. But she's my baby girl!

I love Sebastian but H2B doesn't and I'm not too keen on Seb as a nickname..
I still really want Luna for a girl but H2B just says Luna the looney bin when I mention it :-( lol..
I also like Liberty but he's watched too many gangster films where they all say 'Youre taking the effing liberty' to each other.. Tut..

We Don't have unusual names my side at all, but H2Bs nieces stepdaughter and daughter are Storm and Shadow ! Which everyone cringed at Shadow but now no one can imagine her being anything else xxx

Haha Georgina is my birth name, didn't hear many when I was growing up but hearing looooads now a days.. The was 3 separate families in Tesco the other day with Georgina's lol..

Aurora is different, we was looking at Disney Princess Names, since i already have a Belle, if another girl was to pop along i'd like a little theme, but we didn't like Aurora, or Jasmine. We liked Ariel, but not possible with it being a tv part. So still thinking on that one.

I used to love the name Caleb for a boy.

We have said when we have our baby - we only intend on having 1 child - he or she will be Charley Jack Thomas (The middle names after our fathers) or Georgia Frances Elizabeth (our mother's middle names) but I was saying to jez last night, people will think we have named her after the royal baby. Hmpfh!
