Is it just me or is trying to arrange the wedding lovely right up until you try and book a date!? My work says yes, whenever, his work says only on our terms. This has been going on well over a month. We have been in touch with the reg office and have available dates but nothing our end!!!! Grrrrrrr I am sure it shouldn't be this hard! Sorry for the rant but I really needed to get it out of my system

What does your OH do? It seems a bit harsh for his employers to say only on their terms?

Oh gosh how annoying!!! Why are they saying on their terms? Its opposite where I live - I've book the date and got the venue sorted etc however were not allowed to book the registrar until 12 months to the date of the wedding... I'm stressing out hoping and praying that I will 1) get through quickly enough and 2) hope my date and time are available!! Nightmare!! xx

It's the honeymoon but as our wedding is going to be small (not even a reception) the honeymoon is very important to us. Only asking for a week, not even two weeks!!

It can be difficult with work allowing people time off especially if other people are already off. At the end of the day they have a business to run. However it is an exceptional reason. We are only allowed to book our holiday in nov for the following year but I booked my wedding 2 years in advance so I had to hope I could get the time off. Could he not take the time off unpaid so they can pay someone else to work?

I certainly hope so!! I'm now starting a new job so sadly on the day I now have to work early so I'm having to leave it up to my H2B so I'm putting all my trust in him haha xx

Surely if he can give his work enough notice it shouldn't be a problem?!
