Hiya Girls, well my wedding is coming up fairly soon. We couldn't decide what to do for our first dance as we've got three kids and they're all playing an important part on the day, so we decided to do a bit of a mix. Starting off with me and h2b dancing to Aerosmith's 'Don't want to miss a thing'. After about 50 seconds a police siren will sound then the kids are going to come on, tell us to step back and they're going to dance to Olly Murs 'Dance with me tonight' After another 40 seconds, me and h2b are going to come on again and do the Twist, after that kids are doing Cotton Eye Jo and then We will finish off with the rest of Aerosmith. So my question to you is Are any of you doing something different or just sticking to tradition

Well we are sort of doing both...our first dance will be just me and H2B slow dancing to Ben howard...but half way through the night LMFAO-party rock anthem is going to be played and all of the groomsmen and my bridesmaids (Even the mums) have learnt the dance to the chorus bit so we shall do like a flash mob :D

I went to a wedding where they started dancing to "groovy kinda love" by phil collins, then suddenly blues brothers shake your tail feather came on and they had elarnt a dance to that then after about 30 seconds, everyone was invited to join them.

I thought it was nice for them and showed their personalities. I would love to do something like that but h2b is quite shy so we're just going to have our first dance to lou reed, perfect day and after about 30 seconds, have the dj ask people to join us

Brilliant idea. We are having Bryan Adams Heaven and then it goes into the DJ Sammy version and all the kids are coming up to dance. I did give step daughter to be the honour of making a dance up months ago for it but she has not bothered so we won't all be doing the same dance.

Well we are making the dance moves as easy as possible as our three kids are 7, 13 and 17 so whatever we did we needed to make it easy for our youngest one, fortunately my daughter, the 13 yr old knows both the Olly Murs and Cotton eye Jo quite well so we've managed to make the dance moves simpler lol Can't wait, really didn't think my h2b would do it as he is quite shy too but he's even mixed the music together for it
