Hi everyone, am new to this site, wondering if anybody can help me!
Myself and my partner are at the stage where we are looking at lots of wedding venues. Has anybody been married, or been to a wedding, at Cyfarthfa Castle in Merthyr Tydfil? If so, what was it like? Can't find much information on the website!

Hia! Welcome to the site! I actually drove past the castle yesterday and was like 'Woooooow' hadn't noticed it from the road before - i'm from Swansea. Sorry I can't help you with comments but from the outside it looks stunning x

Its a beautiful room and stunning grounds, however theres nowhere really nice around merthyr to have the reception :( we looked and looked and looked x

I'm in SOuth Wales but not been there since a child, best advice is to go there and have a chat with them about it. Maybe go to wedding fayre there, if they hold them. As soon as I seen my venue, knew I had to have it. Had never been there before.
Thanks everyone, myself and my partner are going to take a trip up to Merthyr next week to take a look around the castle. We are also going to the wedding fayre at the Ty Newydd in Hirwaun on April 21st, keeping our options open!!
