I have very, very curly hair and can barely think about what to do with it on a daiy basis, let alone for my wedding. Any other Brides out there who have curly hair, and what did you do with it??

Does it straighten easy? My friends hair is too curly to do anything so she straightens it then styles. Takes longer but looks better x

Takes me 3 hours to straighten :-/, which I could get my hairdresser to do, but my Fiance likes it curly so really want to keep it that way! x

Mine used to take equally long to straighten... I have really curly hair too but now I use products such as tresemme for shampoo that have straightening properties... they don't "straighten" my haor but they certainly make the blowdrying it straight with a hot nozzle hairdryer and rollerbrush a damn sight easier and also quick. I then go over with ceramic irons and use a dehumidifying spray or product to prevent "refrizz"... I've done it to pretty good effect before!

However, for my day, I'm thinking of having it plaited whilst wet, allowing it to air dry (with hair product to help make it look smooth and shiny)and then releasing it and seperating some curls and wearing it in a side pony with a beautiful hair accessory...

That said I'm still unsure too and thinking of having it cut a lot shorter (it's half way down my back atm but I'm thinking a "long" shoulder length cut) to get it in to good condition and having some layers to thin and style it and wearing it in curls but clipped up on one side with a side parting....

Before big events I tend to get a blow out and then set in rollers to get a more defined look. If you want to keep your natural curls I know an amazing product that I always get good results from using. I've sent you a friends request so I can post it on your wall.

mines not ringlets, its an annoying curl!! I do straighten it tho, since Ive had my kids I dont do it all the time so I was toying with having it up but it doesnt look right with my dress so hoping to go for a half and half with a more relaxed curl, my sister is a hairdresser so can do it for me xx

So is mine, some days its well behaved and nice a ringlety but a very tight one, and others it is just a frizzy mess!! lol. I'm thinking I'll wear it up as 1- it won't drive me crazy and 2- if it rains it won't just be a frizz ball xx

Although normally wedding mags are a bit of a rip-off, maybe it'd be worth buying one of the hair style ones, as they often have sections on short hair, long hair, curly hair...etc ideas? Might give you something to work with, and something to show a hairdresser?

I too have very curly hair that is very frizzy. I wanted it curly for the wedding as like you H2B likes it down and curly.

I have just had a brazillian blow dry which makes it more manageable and removes the frizz. I can now straighten my hair easily and plan to straighten it and then have it curled for the wedding so its big lose curls rather than the big nest I end up with if its left to dry curly xx
