When I was out shopping on monday my son pointed out flavoured frosting in morrisons for £1.50 a tub and asked if he could have some to decorate cakes, He bought a pack of 12 plain fairy cakes for about £1.10 and just put the frosting on himself and I have to say they were delicious. You can get the frosting in other supermarkets too and it comes in lemon, strawberry and chocolate (may be others but they were all I saw) just thought I would share as these are great for anyone on a tight budget who cant afford £1.50 per cupcake which for 100 guests would cost £150 where as diy i would say roughly £9.90 for cakes and depending how much frosting you like roughly up to £15 for frosting meaning a big saving of £125 xxx

I am thinking of making my own cup cakes for our wedding but buying plain ones to decorate is a great idea a lot less stress and more free time to relax!
