Hey. My BM's are organising my hen do and were wanting it to be a surprise however due to recent unforseen events my MOH has asked me to forward some ideas to her.

So I was thinking this...... Hire a cottage for a weekend (with a hot tub of course!!) and go and spend some quality time with my 3 BMs and possibly one other friend. Wanting to keep it to really close friend as we are having a night out locally for everyone else.

So Friday night when we arrive spend the night in with the stinkiest off cheesy films with pizza and nibbles and take my chocolate fondue mahcine and loads of dippers and of course alcohol!! Also going to try and get hold of some cocktail shakers etc dead cheap and take a cocktail recipe for each of us to re create and give out prizes for the best ones and forfeits for the worst (probably just a shot of something lol!)

Saturday Chill through the day (not sure on what to do though? Go for a meal in the evening and have a few drinks in town(hoping to get a cottage near blackpool).

Sunday - Have a lazy afternoon and have cupcake baking and decorating contests which I would judge and give out silly prizes etc and while the girls do that get on with making a surprise afternoon tea with little sandwiches and mini cakes etc crack some bubbly and chill out. And in the evening see if we can get a twilight spa thing or go for a late massage and dinner.

Any other ideas welcome and also criticism as I really don't know if it sounds any good haha!!

    xxx

Sounds awesome lulu!!! I love a good kids party me haha! My MOH who i have been best friends with for over 10 years is wanting to plan it all between the BMs and I do love her and have every faith in her plannig exactly what I want I am wanting to be involved more.
Without upsetting her and giving them most of the control how do I tell them i want to help plan? I dont care where the cottage si although near a town with buzzing nightlife for the saturday would be good. ARGHHHHHHH ahah I am a control freak!
    xxxx

Yeh it did sound awesome but price wise we had to change it due to my SIL kicking up a fuss... and in the end what we did cost the same amount and she didnt even come to it! and now expecting me to fork out triple on hers!! but hey ho!!! thats life... my hen planning was an absolute disaster. my moh and bm gave up without even trying so i ended up doing it all and doing it to please THEM not me!

but thats amazing that they all want input and help plan it. well your MOH has asked for your input giving some ideas and stuff so just let her know you've had a think and here are some possibles that you would like to do for your hen....then explain!

My SIL doesnt know exactly what she is doing for her hen but she organised where it is, then told her aunty, or gave her aunty a like wish list and then her aunty has made a weekend to include as much of it as possible.... if that makes sense?!

    xx
