Me my mum and my sisters did our 1st trial of making the cupcakes for the wedding at the weekend. We are making, carrot cake, lemon, white choc and choc brownie cupcakes. I have put a pic in my album. I'm really pleased with how they turned out, think it could be pretty stressfull making 80 of them the day before though!! x

For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart
It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.

They look really elegant hunni :) You can make them two days before, they will keep. Then the day before you can frost them. Any toppers you need like the pearl fondant balls, butterflies and blossoms can be done a week or so before and stored. It will save you time and stress when making them xx
Wow these look amazing, really professional, well done! Me and my sister made 120 cupcakes for my mums wedding last year, we got loads of comments about how good they were but they were nowhere near as good as yours!
Very happy to say I'm now Mrs Keates and loving it!

They look great. I am going to make my own as well but think I am going to get a friend to help me ice them and decorate them.

Very tasty looking!!! And the decorations are stunning... well done :)
I don't think it will be stressful, unless you don't usually like baking? I love making cupcakes and muffins, it might be a nice, relaxing and fun activity to do before the wedding! If I can't find a baker I like in Spain, I am considering making our wedding cake/cupcakes as I think it will be nice to be able to do something with my BMs and MIL2b before the wedding!
Got married 27th June and blessed on July 5th 2012

kempy you have a special piping nozzle for doing a rose, you can get them on bay of e and then start in the middle and go round covering a little bit of the circle before. Sounds easy but i was rubbish!! mum did that one. x

I say the first thing I think of!

To get the rose effect you need a Wilton 1M nozzle. It will give you the best results :) Cake making/decorating is my trade, don;t wanna sound geeky lol xx
