    I'm making my own table runners and need help!

    when i'm cutting them the organza is fraying, not a fan of nail polish and i think it makes the end look pants

    don't really know what else i can use....HELP!

    Yes that's what I was thinking Ataraxia or a lighter would do the same job, just be careful you don't set it on fire lol

    i would thats thr problem as its like 50CM wide! anyone heard of hot tools??? or thread burners? thinking it might do a better job thats all??? its all worth a try, either that or i'm thinking of cutting extra on the end and using wonderweb to make a make shift hem?

    You could try a soldering iron! I was thinking wonderweb but you may be able to see it through the organza. Have you tried googling it? x

    hairspray the fabric before you cut it and there'll be no fraying. Also makes it a LOT easier to cut! You can get unscented hairsprays from boots, or your hairdresser, and it adds a nice shine too :) xx

    you can get stuff called fray check which is suppose to stop/help the problem. its a sealer. i will post a link on my wall

    use proper dressmakers shears the organza wont pull when cutting then because they are super sharp i swear by them xx

    i'm going to give it a go at the weekend with hair spray and see how that looks and also some wonder web see if i can do it that way, just hope the iron doesn't melt the organza lol, might do it through a towel just in case!

    put a damp towel over the organza before you put the iron on it
