Me and h2b have found the perfect package for a venue were interested in.. Only thing is it includes a 3 course meal..
And as we have fussy eaters and children we don't think it would go maybe a few canapes on arrival instead of starter.. And then sit down for main meal and have dessert..

Do you think they'll let us change it and could it knock some money of the price? xx

As I found with my venue hunny............. there is no harm in asking!

Our venue we thought was over budget but cutting some things out and having something else instead made it a much better deal for us, so i say anything is worth asking, after all they can only say no!

    ASK THEM

There's no harm in asking hun - our venue have been really flexible and I'm being a right pain with them lol. At the end of the day, they're still getting £££'s from you so they should do whatever you ask of them.

I would ask but one thing i would say is don't hand over money or sign anything until you know they will do what you want them to do at the price you want. Once you have everything agreed get it in writing and then hand over the money and get the details put into the contract. You don't have to agree to everything they put on there so don't feel like you have to sign your life away. You can ask them to make changes. If they can't do that then they are not the venue for you.

Thanks hun will do.. Me and h2b are gonna write a list of what we want from the day or expect and what we would like the price at the venue to include.. So we stick to what we want..

We have a budget set for the venue so as long as we don't go over were fine :) xx

Haha I like that Rachel. My ex hated lamb and garlic but he ate it all the time when he was with me and once he figured out what I was doing to make it taste so nice he even started putting it in himself.

I don't think you would save money to be honest... it would be cheaper for the venue to say produce a large pot of soup... or 60 of the same starter but canopies are usually made up of all little different elements, and time consuming for the chef.

Saying that you never know so always worth asking :)
