ok were planning on getting married may next year, ive been told that the venue is currently £110 but next year it will go up, what i want to know is if i book it this year will i still end up paying next years price?

Depends on your contract. Some say its the price at time of booking, some at time of wedding. The best thing is to ask.

we booked ours in january and we were advised that the prices of food/ drinks will increase 3% by next year x
The contract my venue gave me said that they could increase the prices they'd quoted. I wasn't happy with that, so I wrote to them and got them to confirm in writing that the venue price and wedding breakfast prices would stay the same. They were happy to do so, and now I know it's all in writing.
