I've been looking at hair stylist's and make up artist's on the net this evening as I think it's about time I start lining a few up for trials and get an idea of what I'd like.

Well, I've been on a lot of website's for mobile hairdressers and make up artist's in Bristol and Bath and the amount of time's I have come across the same pictures it's unreal!! I totally understand if they were site's giving you idea's and some site's would have the same picture's but this isn't like that, these pictures come under "my portfolio" and "gallery" and some are the exact same pictures.

You can't even work out who's work's who's, who's the copy cat and who's genuine. What a nightmare!!

Go careful ladies!

My friend is a hairdresser and she does beautiful wedding hair BUT she charges the earth, she'll charge me what most people charge for on the day just to do a trial and that's a friend! I'd use her but it's so expensive and I haven't had any recommendations from anyone else :-(

I have a trial tomorrow from someone I met at a wedding fair, I'm a little worried now lol x

the girl thats doing my hair and make up said to me that i only have to pay (for the trial and then the day) if i like what she has done on my trial day, so if i dont like it i dont have to pay a penny! but then im stuck with no hairdresser, boo. shes quoted me a really good price so i hope i like her! x

I ended up going on a personal reccomendation from another bride and she looked amazing on her day and the lady only charges £30 per person for hair and make up.

I dont really like anyone else doing my make up so Im doing my own. I went for a bare minerals make under on Sunday and hated it but I think its because I am weird lol

I have to admit most make over's I've had I have hated but I went to the clinique counter looking for some new make up for the wedding and loved what they did. I think it all depends on the people that do it and if they listen to how you like to normally wear it.

i used my regular hairdresser and i hired a benefit makeup artist to do all the make up,they worked really well for me

I go to my hairdresser every 8-10 weeks for a trim and she does it lovley. I'll be going to her for having my hair done but don't know how much she'll be charging me yet. No idea about make up as I'm not a make up person, it's usually just a bit of lipgloss if I'm going to a do. Got me thinking now whether to have make up done hmmm

I think your right Jo I asked for a dramatic look and bought the rocker eye kit and asked her to use that. I love Bare Minerals stuff it makes my skin feel and look like I have brilliant skin and not made up if that makes sense I love Benefit as well Tigs :-)

im getting my hair dresser to do my hair because i just love how she does my hair!! and she quoted me just put up prices which at the moment are about £12 so thats nice of her. not sure if i'll get her to do my bms too or whether we will all do theirs. all depends on how much money we have left. xx make up im not too sure about i will probably do it myself as i dont like people doing my eye make up as my eyes stream and it all ends up down my face lol.
