Well what do you guys think of having converse as wedding shoes?
I saw them on gypsy brides they looked amazing! I cant have heels 'cause then i'd be taller them my h2b and hes already told me i cant aha!
So I thought about these, although they're like £180!

£180?! if they are crystalised just do it yourself!!!!

il admit, I considered it because I love my cons, but I want to wear heels, so im trying to convince the boy to wear them as his doctor who reference, mine are now union jack high heels lol

My hubby wore them both in Vegas and back here. I wore some trainers I got whilst we were out in Vegas for our London bit because I broke my toe before the blessing LOL!
I was so comfortable - I'd definitely recommend it :)

Lol they're 180 because they have dimonties all over them and they are ankle length, they are amazing. See I do like those pics but i like sparkle! and my OH will not wear them, i've asked he shot me down before i could finish aha, and he thinks it'll be cheaper to get shoes from a cheap shoe shop. I know converse are about 40/50 pound but they're awesome!

I think my H2B would like to wear converse. I think they add a relaxed feel to the day. My lovely SiL2B is wearing customised converse for her wedding to my lovely brother :) she's hoping to get them customised with the wedding date and 'Mrs Thomas' sewn on, they look brilliant!

I wear Converses a lot, very comfy shoes, but for a wedding I'm not so sure. I wear Converse because it's a part of the style I wear but I like to keep my casualness at bay for the wedding, it's not like I'm going to dress up like that again :)

I love converse, but normally buy a reproduction but have always wanted the real thing and im want to wear flats in the evening so have decided me , the mr and our lil miss are all going to get royal blue coverse with Mr Hands, Mrs Hands and Miss Hands on side, and them im going to bling mine and lil misses up with some crystals , plus lots of people spend 50/100 quid on heels and they only wear them on special occasions , while i will be wearing my converse as much as possible ! So comfy! And seeming a tenants dictor wears them its a part of the theme!

I was tempted to wear flats but decided on a small heel as wearing flats changes your posture. I think it would be lovely to have a customised pair. X

^^ omg just looked thats so cool, but kinda defeates the purpose of them being comfy! , although i do wonder how comfy the wedge heel ones are, would prefer smaller heel or a platform bit at front! Im my mums wedding pitcures shes wearing platforms! Thats from 40 years ago! My mum rocks!

Sounds like you're already letting your H2B boss you around!!!

If you wanna wear heels, wear em! a photographer will be making your photos look great. I'm taller than my H2B and wearing a slight heel so we don't look ridiculous. I know a lass who's 6foot 2 who married a bloke who was 5 ft 5... so yeah!

Wear what shoes you want, you only get one shot at this hopefully... if you really wanna wear converse too, do it. But you may want to choose for this dayt o be your most girly ever... and you can always get girly flats too which are more pretty and less clumsy... remember footwear choice can change your gait too.. you might find yourself walking a bit more "clumpily" in trainers/sneakers...

I wanted to wear Lelli Kelly shoes with my dress, they are so bling and colourful, but everyone pulled their face and a few people said it was a ridiculous idea.

Eventually I got a pair of custom made sparkly red shoes, like Dorothy's ruby slippers and I love them, they also have I do crystal stickers on the back. Check them out!

That sounds awsome DO IT!!!! and seriously get some fabric glue from wilkinson (its like 50p) and glue gems on cheap repro converse, you CAN'T go wrong i promise you, my uncrafty H2B could do it and that means its EASY! If you somehow manage to ruin a cheap pair of shoes with cheap glue and cheap diamontes of ebay or something THEN you can legitimately say, i tried it and i HAVE to spend £180 on my shoes and thats it! xxx
