    Hiya!

Last night I had the consultation with one of the possible florists for our bouquets (this is for artificial flowers). All flowers for the venue are supplied by their florist and I'm meeting her next week for a quote (for fresh!)

Can you let me know whether you think this quote is any good? I have no idea about how much it should cost but I think its a good deal!

The lady will be supplying our chair covers also (x80) - £120

    Flower Total - £197

    1 Bride Bouquet - £45
    4 Bridesmaid Bouquets - £100 (£25 each)
2 Flower Girl Baskets (with Petals) - £10 (£5 each)
    2 F.G Hairbands - £10 (£5 each)
    5 Buttonholes - £15 (£3 each)
    2 Corsages - £17 (£8.50 each)

    And here's the pics

That sounds like a really good deal :)

Also the chair covers are a very good price at £1.50 per chair

You have done well there. I wonder what the price will be for your fresh ones xx

I have not really looked into artificial flowers if I am honest but the prices she has quoted are very similar to the prices my florist is doing my fresh flowers for
I suppose it is personal choice but I love fresh flowers & the beautiful smells from the bouquets

Sounds like a good deal although not had any quotes yet to compare but gave heard people spend thousands (!!!!!!!) on flowers. Elle sounds like you got a good deal is that for a similar amount?

Im having artificial flowers, but they are foam..very realistic looking, the lady Im getting to do mine is doing my big teardrop bridal bouquet, MOH's bouquet, 7 corsages,13 single button holes and 1 double buttonhole for £78 including postage.... she was reccommended by a few ladies on here, and after looking at her work decided to go for it xx

im looking into artificial flowers for the same sort of things as you, and price wise your definitely getting a good deal!
Hopefully going to get a quote off of a potential florist next week so will then compare to your quotes! similar style flowers as well!

I hadnt thought about enquiring with the in house florist at the venue for the other things, but you have just reminded me that our venue has someone so may take a look and arrange a meet up to discuss the venue decs....hmm! got me thinking now! x

Tori im having different flowers etc but the prices are very similar
    Large bouquet for me £50
Bridesmaids Gyp £20 each (£60 in total) will double up as top table flowers as they are only youngsters, wont want to carry flowers all day
Corsages £10 for MOH (she does not want bouquet) & MOB MOG
    Button holes £3.50
Having fresh flowers for cake and the young BM's hair
Centre pieces are £6-£8 per table
Quote will obv need some tweaking here & there but total cost for all the flowers will be no more than £250

I was pleasantly surprised as my florist of choice is an independant shop but such an amazing florist.
We have used her for the last few years but I really thought she was going to charge much more.
She is our venues preferred florist too!

The one piece of advice I would give is take a mood board/photo's of the things/style/feel you like/want

I did this with our florist, I was a little concerned as I don't want the usual bridal flowers but I showed Lisa my ideas and she just got it straight away
Such a relief as another florist just ignored what I said and was pushing her ideas on me and trying to force me to be more stereotypical with my flowers & arrangements

Ooh you don't want that. Even if they don't like your ideas they should appreciate that you are the customer x
