A friend of a friend had one (trying to get details) and said it looked fab. I know you can get the hand held ones which people could fire but i want the surprise element for everyone x

Yeah I've never heard of confetti cannons either, but we are having an exploding balloon. Some have to be popped with a large stick but ours has a detonator, so the DJ just pushes a button and off it pops! It was £75 so not cheap but I think they look amazing =) xxx

Apparently they hardly make a noise. We were expecting a massive bang so we asked the supplier if we should warn everyone so it doesn't frighten them to death when it pops, but she said its miles quieter than a "normal" balloon when it pops! Xxx

We'l be ok in the venue we can basically do what we like as its a village hall.
Where did you get the remote control one from - knowing my luck my dad will be trying to pop it the whole way through the song with a stick lol x

Silly question, but what happens to the confetti? Does it just get left to be spread around the venue for the rest of the night?

lol. I think it's a great idea but I'd want to bust out the hoover right after the dance. I don't think I could handle the mess.
