I put this in help as I think I may just need it!

I would like to start by saying 'My name is Jo and I am a UK bride addict.'

I'm going to make some confessions on here and feel free to add your own as I'm sure it will give us all a good giggle.

Today my hoop came (only ordered it from china half way through last week!) so I immediately put it on with my bra/pants wedding shoes, tiara and veil and I have been prancing around the house all day like a loon.

I also sneak my i phone under the bed covers at night when we go to bed so I can check out what is going on while he is snoozing.

I've been ordering things from ebay for the wedding and not putting them on the wedding budget for the h2b to see! (oopsie)

I think I may have become addicted to Uk bride and don't know what to do!

I am also a ukbride addict, though fortunately with h2b complete consent (keeps me away from the bickering and arguing on netmums lol)
I also am a bit of a sucker for online shopping not being marked down on the wedding budget. I bought all our wooden roses, vases, my shoes and yesterday save the date fridge magnets....all not from our budget but my account lol. Nice to have those little extras i think and neednt be too expensive if done gradually.

As far as being an addict goes, not much you can do, ukbride is essential wedding planning time and not in any way procrastinating :D

I cannot remember when it all started but i knew i was addicted from the word go. I crave hearts and points and can't stop myself from getting high off the wedding forum

i rang the wedding dress shop today to try get my apointment moved to this fri lol made up an exscuse i had an appointment that day but they too busy this week booooo lol so will have to wait 2 weeks x

Jo, it's perfectly acceptable to be uploading your pics via your iphone on your wedding day... I'd do the same, and I know for a fact that my sister was all over facebook throughout her wedding day!

yeah we do come in handy for that i must admit - i like getting cost saving ideas from everyone :) x

I have to admit it does save my friend ear ache and wedding talk. I would be lost without you ladies.

Yeah I haven't logged onto faceache for a while now so my real friends will be wondering what has happened to me as I always used to go on there.

Thanks but I may just pass on those - have enough of my own :P Really should look back through my list and recount though, misplacing the guests is not really the done thing :P

I have made up cards which are in 3 piles. 1. Definitely invited to the whole day 2. Maybe all day, maybe just evening, and 3. Definitely just evening.

Then me and h2b have to go through them and try and pick who from the maybe's go into the whole day pile, and who into the evening pile.

LOL - it's the only way I can get my head around it :-)

We were really ruthless. If we haven't seen them in the last year or we don't like them then they are not invited. (that cut out loads) If we liked them they are coming.... That left us with 58, just the right amount of people! There are a few more coming to the evening but we are saying to them if they want to see us get married they are more than welcome to as it doesn't cost us anything but the room we have dinner in only holds 60 people.

It used to be facebook but now UK bride is my addiction, I put off going to bed just to stay and read the forum posts, reply, chat and gain points. Every post counts to helping you get to be the all important power user :)

hi im ashleigh and im addicted to UK bride

Every time i come into the front room, i put the laptop on and login, i cant help it. h2b has had a few moans that i spend more time on here than i do with him. I sit here reading posts when i should be doing the housework ooops. And im also constantly looking and ordering wedding things even though we have ages. ADDICTED!!! Think im wedding obsessed, i jus want it done so i can relax and enjoy it although i don't know what im going to do when everything is sorted lol, il be going out my mind.

I am so addicted i am still at work past home time - right signing off now - will be back on in half hour when i walk through the front door lol! :) x
