Aww, that's brill, bet you're right excited!! I'm currently on my level 3 beauty, but i've failed the practical part as i've been having time off with my back. But I was gunna do hairdressing afterwards. It can be a bit of a pain in them groups if you're mature (I mean grown up in the head, not old), did you find this? Cause all the beauty girls were soooo childish, lol x
CommentAuthor4lannie4
yeah hun i totally agree im 33 and the girls range from 16 to 23 and are very imature, definately go for it hun apart from me going to marry the h2b and the 2 wonderful boys i have this is the best thing i have done in my life, i love every minute of it and i know the beauty is a lot harder as a couple of the girls on my course have done it x

I'm only 19, but even the older girls, they used to just grind on my nerves with their snidey comments and little giggling fits when we did the reproductive system! Arghh. lol. And I can't do it now, I'm not physically able, i'm looking into counsilling, as i've been through a lot myself and feel I can empathise with people who are going through a tough time. And It's something that i can work around my disability with. Unlike hair or beauty, as I can't push myself in a wheelchair, and can't stand for long(or unaided) or walk unaided, or far. So complete career change for me.. a bit gutted though, cause I love beauty :( x

Do you want some practice? You can cut my hair! xx
CommentAuthor4lannie4
oh hun such a shame, but you sound a lot more mature than a lot of the people on your course and am sure whichever career path you take that you will be good at it, x
CommentAuthorRoxii
I'll live :P there's always people out there who are worse than me. I just looked into the counsilling course and I'm not qualified enough to get onto that course.. so i'm gunna look into IT.. My next best area of expertise :P lol (I can type at least, haha) x
CommentAuthor4lannie4
lol, good luck hun did you have to do any keyskills qualifications in with your course cuz if you did my tutor said these are the equivilent to gcse or a levels x
CommentAuthorRoxii
Oooh, Yeah I do.. forgot about those.. Only equivelent to 3 GCSEs A-C x They don't really count anymore though :| x
CommentAuthor4lannie4
oh no thats a shame ive had to do it my gcse were a little out of date (about 15 years) lol x
