I'm pretty sure my dress is made with plastic bones and it doesn't hold the girls up very well, even with a bra. So I put it on with a corset I already own but that's a bit too big for me (a friend bought it in a sale and it was far too big for her too but fits me a little better) It made the dress fit a million times better so I thought I'd buy a white one from the same place since it's a good sturdy corset.
So went to the site, Ordered a £30 corset in my size, felt relieved my size was in low stock but a few other sizes were out. Then later got an email saying "sorry this item is out of stock" So I emailed them saying- when I ordered it it was in stock! And looking at the site now it says there's still ONE in stock. I said if I'd known it was out of stock I wouldn't have ordered it, so can they send me a different one for the same price.
I was really shocked to get an email back today saying they've sent the new one I asked for! So I'm getting a £60 corset for £30! Pretty darn chuffed with that.
The one I ordered was flat steel boned and offered 4-5inch waist reduction and the one I'm getting is spiral steel boned and offers 6-7inch waist reduction. Awesome!

It's not very comfortable but it does work! They give an amazing hour glass figure. But only while you're wearing it obviously. spiral bones are more flexible than flat ones so it's slightly easier to bend but I think in any corset bending just isn't going to happen lol they barely even allow you to slouch.

Legobride, the recommended for beginners is no more than 2-3 inches off your normal waist size, or 3-4 to really squeeze you in. 4-5 inches off your waist is daring and will probably be quite painful after an hour or so hours. Depending on how long you are planning on wearing it, you may want to train your waist by wearing one which is slightly less extreme on a daily basis from about 2 months before the wedding. It will give your body time to adjust.

I've not bought the corset for the waist reduction I've bought it to give my dress structure. I'll wear it as tight as is comfortable which is what i meant when i said I'll see how far it'll squeeze me in. Not going to purposely make myself more uncomfortable than need be!

It showed up on saturday! We missed it though because I was away in blackpool falling down a step and spending 4 hours in A&E with torn ligaments in my foot :(
Didn't stop me trying it on though! Didn't get to admire it too much though cause I can't stand up for too long lol. It's lovely though, really heavy! They sent it recorded even though I paid for the slow option. Pretty pleased :)
Just need my bum foot to heal up now so I can try it on with my dress!

wow that was more luck then that they sent is so quick but not so good news about ur foot and OUCH i have done it so know how painfull it could be.
Keep foot rested and i know it hurts but try and walk putting presure on it as much as u can helps the to heal so my doctor and physio told me (either that or they didnt like me lol) xx

The doctor wanted to give me crutches but I didn't think I needed them cause I can walk on it it just hurts a bit. A nurse told me walking on it a bit would be better for it so nice to know she knew what she was talking about! Swelling is going down now too which is good :) Not sure how long it'll take to completely heal but I hope it's not too long!

Managed to stand stably enough today to try it on with my dress and my goodness what a difference.

It does go over bust, that's the main reason I bought it because they're ten times better than bras- give unbelievable support. In a normal bra the dress was kinking in from the weight. The tiny waist is just a bonus. Just need to lose the armpit flab now lol

I would consider a corset for the support but as my waist is tiny already (shame about the hips & bum!) It would leave me with a 20" waist maximum which may look odd!!!

I was trying to grow my hair for the wedding, but it just doesn't suit me long! I'm so glad I cut it, I feel like me again and H2B prefers it short too. Just gonna have to work out a new way to wear my veil cause I didn't want to wear it on top of my head :S I'm sure I'll come up with something :)
Elle- I have a small waist to everything else ratio, I measure something like 39-31-40 but it looks great. I think if I forced it any smaller though It'd start looking a bit unnatural! Guess it depends on how dramatic your proportions are, lol.
