My maggie was called 'olivia' and was diamond white. I couldn't afford the book price so after months of searching found a brand new one with tags and cert for 250 delivered on bay of e. I felt amazing in it :-) Everyone should have one xx
i have just started looking at dresses and I LOVE MAGGIE! i also like alot of the soterro and midgley ones too!My theme is vintage and im sure I will find a vintage looking one in her range! I don't really know when to start looking. Im getting married in June 2012 so I was thinking of looking in the new year. I dont want to start too early though??? xx

I really loved Leoni but felt I was too old for it as they only did it in various shades of white so I chose Denise in light gold which is lovely and much more fitting for my age (55 when I get married)

I got a limited edition dress by Maggie S called 'Sian', was meant to be 1200 got it for 500 and i love it!
Not convinced that is the real name of the dress though, the woman in the shop said i wouldnt be able to find it online and she is right i can't find it but i have found a really similar one called 'Amber'.
Does anyone know what to do now i have paid for it. i'm not getting married until May 2012, so don't know when first fitting should be?

you first dress "fitting" should be around 8-12 weeks before your wedding to make sure you dont change shape. to actually just put "your" very own bridal gown on, it will be as soon as it comes in 4/5months- and that time will fly by!!
most shops have their own name for dresses......... its easier than codes or numbers etc plus it stops internet buying.. but if they have that dress on their website or a pic in the shop to give you i guess you dont need to look much further.....

Ooo which 1 did u pick?.... maggies are all gorgeous it was a hard choice..but that 1 seemed to suit me more. I tried kendra,ambrosia,dominique,fiorella,chardonnay,Emily & Angelina... And I tried 2 sottero n midgleys on but cannot rememba the name/numba.xx

Does anyone know a rough idea of prices for Maggie dresses? Or the cheapest place for them? They are so gorgeous, I'm in love with the Mona dress from the new collection but can only find out information on the Mona Lisa dress. I know they will probably be pricey but I'm hoping it's not too much!!

Not sure if mine qualifies because it is a copy of a Maggie Sottero dress called Cassia. I could never have afforded the original but the copy is beautiful and I am so pleased with it. Of course it is not identical but is an excellent near as damn it..and at £68 for a brand new made to measure dress means I can have a fab dress for my wedding. There are pictures on my profile xxx

I have seen a dress by Maggie Sottero which is called 'bride in blue' but it's just because it's blue rather than this designer. Really hope I can find something similar as I really, really fancy getting married in blue now!!

i bought the maggie dress monalisa but when it came colour was different at top than the bottom pic in my album original dress. i am still gutted about it now :-( i got a full refund and a diff dress, but the monalisa keeps poppin up everywhere so makes me even more upset knowin im not havin it now :-( x
