Martyn wants to change the wedding colours as he is not liking the purple anymore.
I am now looking at Baby Blue and Red but i dont know what colour to go with it.
Will have hints of ivory and silver too. Really confussed

I am so confussed. I want something that will stand out. I dont mind having two bold colours and then ivory and silver as there is very little silver i dont even think people will notice it. (mostly in the jewllery and the invitation hand writing is going to be done in silver)

What about the Navy? That would also be lovely with ivory and silver, and is a bolder colour than the baby blue?

I agree navy looks good with silver - i am having royal blue which is quite similar. I think having both blue and red tho might be a bit overwhelming??

Just read a post online by a lady called C B and she designs weddings and she wrote that the colours for 2012 weddings are purple and orange or Blue and Red. Loving the purple and orange (as i all ready and the purple just need to add orange) martyn liked it too.
Not to sure about the blue and red though.

We are having pink and white with a hint of pale green but otherwise i would go for lemon yellow and green and it is summery and light. Greg likes it too, i suggested purple once and he gave me a resounding no! lol x

We were supposed to be getting married Christmas this year and had decided on a red gold and ivory scheme. Now we're getting married summer 2012 and going with a black and white theme. I was tearing my hair out trying to pick a colour scheme for the summer wedding (I'm so not your pastel shades kind of girl) then I came across black and white wedding pictures and fell in love with the concept

I like the idea of turquoise/teal/baby blue (so thinking along the blue colour scheme palette) and silver I always thought I'd have a PINK princess wedding but I think it's just too obvious so I want to have a different type of WOW that no one would expect.

we were going to have white and red but everyone i know who has got married first has had that colour scheme even tho i prob planned that years before everyone else! So now i am having white and pink - for your colour scheme with silver i think navy blue and cream will work very well :) xxx

I'm with you mrsbakertobe..cadbury purple is such a lovely bold colour and I love chocolate, so cadbury is the way to go! and H2B said purple b4 I did! Eveyones happy :) maybe throw some silver in 2. The other colour I did like was the teal/turquiose.

I had a nightmare with my h2b and colour schemes too lol he hated every colour I came up with! Weve gone with White, Silver/grey & a splash of dusty rose (dark pink) :) hopefully I can make them look magical! xx

Thanks hun :) my h2b just wanted white & silver/grey (he likes the minamalist style) lol I've managed to sneak in the dusty rose e.g. flowers, table decor etc as were getting married in June i needed to try and brighten it up a bit! lol xx
