I am having purple and butterflys. Thing is the harder i look for things in urple to match the hard it gets. Martyn wants lilac for everything i want a little bit darker as lilac and ivory will just look to pale. Thing is i am finding loads but never the colour purple we want. I am starting to think we should just change the colours and i was thinking blue/teal colour but martyns brother got married in june and they had blue/teal colour and dont want it to seem like we are copying them as we are not trying to.

I dont like pink as i am not a very girl person. I like red but my friend is going red for her wedding a fe months before us.

If any one could help i would be very gratful.

I was just looking at them and i like it. Only thing is how would i use it. I am not very imaginitive(sp) and cant think. I just want something that is pretty but not girlie. With a few butterflys in flowers and on the cake. We have agreed we will have ivory and silver so it has to be something to go with them

Like the idea of purple ans as like us you have sometime to find things I wouldnt worry toooooo much (says me who is a stress head)

As long as its shiny- perhaps purple tinfoil?

Our colour scheme is purple but think it'll be dif shades of purple for dif things x

I have a feeling my bms and everything is going to look like they are wearing them tinfoil blankets they give you for shock to warm you up.

what about using purple and gold or silver. different shades of purple will also work, by adding a bit of silver or gold that adds a bit of glittz without the glitter. its so hard picking colours. I have pick pearch, green and silver. i wanted my bm's in peach but i am finding it a hard task coz not many designers do peach. hope you work it out hun. x

purple fairy lights have you tryed the bay of e hun you can also get purple dimond table crystals they sparkle and are much nicer than glitter

Yes agree with having different shades of purple for different things as it does get hard trying to match everything to the same colour.
I'm having pink, gone for baby/light/pale pinks. I've got things like table crystals in one shade, bridesmaid dresses in another etc with lots of diamonte things for sparkle :)

ours was deep purple with butterflies but had to change it as h2b cousin desided to do the same!! so now ours is burgendy with butterflies x

Well i came home from work and martyn was grinning at me like he had done something bt wouldnt tell me why. Got to about 10 mins ago and he asked if i had checked my emails yet. I hadnt coz there is never anything interesting in the at this time of night.

Well my lovely h2b has spent most of the day looking for bridemsmaid dresses in what he call shiny and sparkly purple.

Well i have put the pics my album for you to have a look at.

They are so nice and they are loads cheaper then the dresses we had picked already. And best of all both bridesmaid love them.

They even have silver in there to make the silver part of the wedding stand out a bit more.

Well he said earlier about shinny sparkly dresses for the bridesmaids but he couldnt put it into words what he ment and i had to go work. So he went on ebay and found them. I think they are so cool. It has the purples we want and they are still very pretty.

I just wich they did them in teen bridesmaid dresses.

Finding it hard to find one for my little sister she will be just turning 12 when we get married but has a large chest for her age.I type in size 8 to 10 and get very grown up dresses but there is one in bhs for 60 i might just have to get that and be done with
