my colour for the wedding is teal/turquoise. im having a few problems with bridesmaids dresses as one of my bridesmaids (my sister) is now pregnant. weve decided to change dresses but cant find anything in my colour within budget, and trust me i have searched and searched! i was thinking of having the bms dresses in a different colour to teal...maybe hot pink OR purple? then adding this colour to what ive already got...like maybe some purple or pink butterflies in the flowers, purple/pink petals mixed with the teal ones for the tables etc... what do you think? would it look silly? whicch colour would you go for? confuseeeddd! x

You could try having each BM in a different colour or some in one and some in another. Hot pink would look quite exciting with teal, especially considering the time of year you're getting married, will definitely brighten things up! So yeah, if you can't find a dress for your sister I'd say your idea would work really well!

I think this would work well after all they say nowadays you shouldnt match everything so perhaps the same dress but in different colours would work??? Ive ended up with THREEE different dresses but all in the same colour. So my 3 year old in one the 8 and 10 year old in another and the 14 and 16 in the other. Perhaps you could get them to wear the same jewellery instead and this could also be there thank you gift?

they all have the same hair pieces, flowers, jewlery and shoes :) thing is, ive gone off the original dress and really want new ones lol. hails...great minds think alike... jewelry is their gift already :) x

Hot pink looks stunning with teal. I would never have thought of putting them together but oneof my mags had a featured wedding in it where the dresses were teal but the flowers and shoes were bright pink. You could do it the other way round, would look very modern xx

My friend had teal bridesmaid dresses and hot pink and orange gerberas as her flowers they were stunning and really modern.

ooo wow katie, i bet that looked amazing. my original colour was orange but i found it too difficult finding the exact colour i wanted lol. think im going to go with the teal and pink idea, thanks girls! x

It was beautiful such a lovely day in general its going to be hard to beat to be honest but her budget was way higher than mine is :-(
