Hey everyone, Me and my h2b got engaged at christmas, hoping to get married april 2011. a long way off but plans are already underway. Struggling with colour schemes at the moment, was thinking of a monochrome, but im unsure if its too plain, any other ideas for alternative colour schemes?? x

Im trying to keep my colour scheme really muted so Im opting for Pewter/dark grey and White with hints of Silver.

I wanted burnt orange cos lilies are my fav flowers and I love the orange ones and want them in my bouquet! The bridesmaids dresses are black with burnt orange sashes, the ushers white waistcoats with burnt orange cravats. We're having balloons bouquets in white, black n orange and orange chair sashes. Then just little extras like black favour bags for the men n orange ones for the women! H2b keeps worrying im going to overboard in the orange theme but we're having the reception in a huge white marquee so I have to break up the white a little!

Ooooh n I have jst bought all the shoes for me n the bridesmaids. Im being very untraditional n having burnt orange ones to match the bridesmaids! :)

ours is pink,cream,black and metalic silver sounds odd but when yo see it all together it looks beautifull

calla lillys are beautifull,iv chossen miss susie arum lillys for the button holes and im having a scatering of them in my arangement

see I really like them but I also like the idea of a cascade bouquet, also aren't they very expensive?

we are going for champagne colour and ivory with gold here and there.As its hard to find gold flowers we are having a pale yellow.

Hi im having fuschia pink, ivory and gold, but it has changed that many times will probably be something else by the wedding!

I need some ideas ladies of how to tie in my colours nicely im having navy, white and splashes of pale pink any ideas how to work them into my flowers cake etc i want navy bm dresses not sure on fg's yet just need some help really because i dont want too much of one colour and not enough of another lol x

fg's in white with navy sashs sounds nice what do you reckon about venue decor cos our wedding package includes all white chair covers table clothes etc but need to get the blue in too gona have pale pink flowers got pink and navy favour boxes what else can i do x

im not a fan of ballons if im honest but i was thinking blue napkins and sahes cos want it to be prodimenently white and blue, ive found some plain blue placecards already x
