Hi all was wondering if anyone has any other suggestions as to what I could have with navy. Navy is a definite but was thinking about lime OR hot pink to go with it. I'm getting married in oct 2015 so any suggestions would be most appreciated Thanks :)

I have considered some of those but what to people think about the colours I've mentioned above too for an October wedding? Are they too summery do you think?

I think the hot pink is great with navy for October, I wouldn't let the season dictate your colours though, we had a May wedding and had red and gold xxx

What about navy, white and silver, then you could include sparkle ie you could have somethings irredescent white, and have somethings in matt navy and also metallic navy.
my dream wedding colour theme would be Navy blue, white and silver.

blue and green should never be seen! I just remember that from somewhere... I think pink would look nice with navy. We're having navy and gold, to go with H2B's uniform and because it's near to Christmas. Pink isn't too summery, and the weather can still be nice in October.

I am having navy suits for the boys...my first colour scheme was sapphire blue and purple but I have since changed it to 'frosted candy' like pastels but brighter and navy looked good with both. But navy actually goes with LOTS: orange, hot pink, cream/ivory, light pink, light blue, white.... i think you should go with hot pink if thats what you like iv seen lots of pics with that scheme... :)
I have heard of blue and green should never be seen so its kind of putting me off as future MIL hates green anyway so maybe not such a good idea. I don't need her moaning too lol
I do love the navy blue, white and silver idea too. Thought about it as well. Arrrgghhh it's so hard to choose the perfect colours. I've got a feeling that ill get fed up with whatever I choose before I the big day!

I always got taughtred and green should never be seen, I think blue and green look lovely together. If you go with yellow and navy you could have sunflowers as they will be in season!

We did midnight (almost navy) blue, silver and ivory. Although the wedding itself was in Sept (in Vegas), we had a blessing in our local park and a reception back in London in the October. I don't think the time of year should dictate your colours.
I love navy and hot pink together.

we did navy and daffodil yellow ant it looked awesome - so i would say the brighter the better! love the sound of hot pink xx
