I am after some advise, i need to get some invites and save the date cards done but have not choose my colour yet as wedding isnt till oct 2013. So would you get them done in a gold or silver ?
CommentAuthorKATG
mmmm, I personally would choose colours, but if you really cant I would have silver over gold as it's a bit more neutral x

I wanted purple for my dresses or lilac, but my wedding is too far away so i cant buy them yet as too early ;(
CommentAuthorFuture Mrs Doublé
I agree, choose silver rather than gold, much more neutral. What about ivory or white if you know what colour dress you're gonna have?

Well if you know that you want purple or lilac then you can always use this on the invites. You don't have to buy the dresses to know what colour you want. But if you think you might change your mind by the time of the wedding then go for a silver or ivory xxx

Personally, I would wait until I had a colour scheme or theme ..... you may change your mind a few times before you settle on a scheme - I know I have!! xx

the save the dates dont need to match ur invites. y not get like little magnetics? ppl can put them on there microwave or fridge, then send invites out 6 months before the wedding giving them 2 months to reply with ur colour scheme. xx

I wouldn't worry too much about the colour of your save the dates, they don't really have to match. Just choose something you like. xx
