    Hi ladies! Happy Monday!

Am having a bit of a 'mare with colour co-ordination and was looking for some advice please.

This is the look I'm going for at the reception as the wedding breakfast is going to be a BBQ rather than a formal meal:

Not the best pic but essentially it's red and blue gingham.... What sort of colours would you suggest for the bridesmaids? One has very dark hair and pale skin who usually wears dark colours and the other one is a true English rose who mostly wears pastels, so it wouldn't be as simple as one in red one in blue... Or would it?

Also, what are your thoughts on flowers for the centre pieces and bouquets to tie it all together? I am wearing this dress:

    Thanks in advance xx

I think dark blue is good on most people. You could always take them to try dresses on just for colour ideas, they don't have to be the dresses you have it would just give you an idea if colour before you find the style you want. For centrepieces if it's in the summer maybe flowers in a tin water can gives it that summer garden feel. Flowers you could have red with blue ribbon round the stems. My theme is only just starting to come together and I've been engaged a year, you will get there don't worry. I googled a lot lol xx

My girls are in royal blue and are all totally different, blonde , dark, medium brown and gingery.

Best bet is to go try some dresses on in the different colours and see what looks best.

Definitely try dresses on for the colours first, maybe the same colours at the same time so you can put them together and see how they look. When you've picked a colour then shop for the style and choose your dresses :)

I think navy would suit the colour scheme and both the bridesmaids

It doesn't have to be the same colour for both of them. You can ask them to wear the same dress but in different colours. I was thinking to make an ombre style bridesmaids. I even found nice online store: ******************. They have pretty wide range of styles and you can choose whatever colour you like. They from UK, so might be worth to visit them.
