Morning everyone.
In community today but not sure how busy it will be as don't have the diary, I know of one woman I shall be seeing though as she would have gone home yesterday.
Slept awful, body aches today but not in a too much work out way but a poorly way. Hope this cold is not going to come back again like so many people have said,

Joseph had his second night in his own room and he slept right through. Definitely a success. He came back through for his morning bottle and we snuggled up in bed for a bit.

This week is going to be a long one with early starts, heading off to Germany this afternoon to go to HQ for the annual sales meetings. 5 consecutive 5.30am wake up calls is not what I need I will power through this.

Started the application for Joseph to go to nursery, now that we know what my working pattern is likely to be. Scary to think we're at that stage. I'm hoping a couple of friends will help one day a week so we only need two days in nursery (I'm going down to three days).

Yay! They found the leak :D
1 landlord, 2 plumbers, 2 builders and a structural engineer for it to turn out it was the pipes to the taps leaking on the underside of the bath. All joist's and floor boards have been checked and the structural engineer is happy they are safe. They are solid other than a few mm's on the top which can sorted. 1 part of a floor board had to be replaced and all mould has been removed and treated. Heat lamps have been on all day to dry everything out.
Bedroom wise the ceiling is being replaced and the whole room deep cleaned, it smells awful. May even get a new carpet and the whole room decorated :D. Just need to get a new bedroom set, LO's bed fell apart from being so wet :O
Best bit it's all getting today and tomorrow so we don't have to move.
Really feel for you Stacey. The only thing I don't miss about work was my 5am starts.

Turns out I only had two visits to do today and they were first thing. Afterwards though I had to go into the unit and help out, not that I did much, only discharged one woman but made some phone calls and changed some appointments for tomorrow's clinic.

Evening all
Had a long day, I was on call last night and got called in at 530am. It's only an hour or so before I would have got up, but in the two and a half hours I was in th unit, I delivered a baby, sorted all the paper work and computer work and she was ready for the shower and transfer to the ward, then straight to clinic as had a meeting with the health visitors and then a busy clinic as the First Lady never turned up on time which meant everyone else was out of sync and late, but we managed to get there in the end and finished on time.
Home, sorted some paper work out, done some housey stuff, popped to the shop, cooked the kids their dinner, now thinking that pjs are needed. Should have been at the gym tonight but cancelled as I was so tired and think I've cricked my neck funny,

My daughter has rubbed some tiger balm into my neck and it's starting to feel better. Hubby was home late but with a box of maltesers. A big box at that. Cuppa, tv and then bed!

Neck still sore today so looks like I shall be dosing up on meds to get rid of the pain along wi lots of stretches. Didn't sleep brilliant as was conscious about how I was turning in bed so that I never made it worse.
Day off today though, got plenty to do .

I woke up and thought it was early, then thought did I actually hear hubby's alarm go off, checked the time and I must have. Just want some good sleep more than just one night of the year.
Done the housework, put a load of laundry on, next ready to go when this lot is done, nice and sunny but might be chilly. Apparently we are getting snow tomorrow. Probs be just a few flakes and that's it.

Working from home today as had someone coming out to look at our fridge freezer. The fridge has decided it wants to freeze and the freezer is doing nothing at all - such a pain in the @rse, I'm having to grab things for dinner etc every day as obviously cannot store anything properly! Reported it to the agents Friday, someone came out this morning, said they're unable to do anything as they are a general repairs person and it will need a specialist fridge/freezer engineer to take a look at it. So god knows how long that's gonna take now... Might have helped if they sent someone competent/qualified in the first place!!! I guess they wanted to go down the cheap route first.

Got my first flute pupil in ages yesterday. I'm looking forward to teaching again. He and his mum are lovely, and I think he'll work hard. Took Joseph to his baby music class this morning, first one of the term. It was great to get back into it again, he really enjoys it. Lots of new people so he's one of the older ones now. After Easter he'll move up to the next age group.

Went to the gym dosed up on meds to stop my neck hurting, it appears much better now though, meds have well and truly kicked in or the gym clicked it back.
Just popped to my moh's house as she wanted advice on some painting she had done, I went in my pjs and she never even batted an eyelid about it. Haha

Had a rubbish sleep, got woken by the snoring monster at 3am, took ages to get back off again, almost considered getting up and going on the sofa.

My mum gets woken by Dad's snoring some nights, I think she just hits him with the pillow now, or gives him a kick. I heard it once, I was in the attic bedroom in their old house and it was even keeping me awake. Thankfully my husband's snoring isn't as loud or as frequent, and a gentle push usually rolls him over without waking him. Joseph snores too but that's sweet, and he's in his own room now so I only hear it over the monitor which isn't as loud.

Hubby's is awful. He went to the hospital but he walked away with non pharmalogical ideas, sleeping in a t shirt with a tennis ball in the front pocket but wear it backwards so he rolls over on his side, and lose weight. Neither he has done!
Had a double sesh at the gym again, not going anywhere now until I need to go to work. Weather is shocking, chucking down with rain. Put a laundry load on before the gym so stuck that in the drier when I got back. Had lunch, I was starving. Going to grab a snooze in a ticko

I think Dad tried the strips that go on the nose but they weren't helpful. He has drops but I think the jury is out on their effectiveness. He's less fussed about sorting it as it doesn't bother him, maybe your hubby is the same. I don't think those who snore appreciate how horrible it is for those who have to listen to it. I had a boyfriend that did it and I ended up sleeping on the sofa one night.

They certainly don't, I know I snore but I don't keep him up with it. We live in a three story house, the girls on the bottom and us on the top, they can hear him from their rooms, he won't sort it as like you said, it does not bother him.

Afternoon all
Yayyy Flossie, great news. Yep maybe packing would be a good idea now. If you have chest of drawers, don't bother packing the clothes, just take the drawers out with clothes in and then just pop them back in after moving. So much easier.
Not had a huge amount of sleep today, but the sleep I had was deep so made it ok. Back in tonight for my last one, then got the police coming over from Portsmouth tomorrow morning to speak to me about what was said to me when my yum gets told me about when the chap approached her in the summer, so still ongoing, I thought he was going to ask me to go to him, wouldn't have bothered me but makes it easier for me him coming here.

ohh Michelle. I know how you feel. Our old house was a detached Victorian house, the landlord never wanted to spend anything on it as his plan was always to knock it down, so had the old single glazed Windows, it was freezing. As soon as then heating went off it went cold. We couldn't believe how warm our house is now when we moved into it and it stays warm.
Had a little doze on the sofa after dinner which has given me enough get up and go for the night shift.

We've got our new car today. My old one spectacularly failed its MOT before Christmas to the extent that it wasn't worth doing the work. We hired a car for the trip up north, and were going to manage without until I return to work then lease one. However hubby's parents, who are quite well off, weren't happy with us taking on that commitment so gave us the money for a reasonable second hand car. We've got a Sk0d@ r00mster, and it's lovely to drive and really spacious.

Been to see my grandfather today. He was actually sat up in bed and very chatty. Left the baby with daddy while I went as I'm ready to string him up. 2 weeks of baby's constant crying has finally got to me. Just needed 5 mins on my own.
Come home expecting daddy to be pulling his hair out, to find them both fast asleep on our bed. Typical! Behaves for his dad but plays up for me.

Finished my glitter glasses then took OH to see Rogue One. He liked it, me not so much. when we got home we made a proper mock up of our invite. Really happy with it!
